They all sit in the waiting room mostly in silence.
Noah's mother is crying on and off.
Occasionally Mr. Johnson will hug and tell her that their son is a fighter and he will be ok.
Jade's father as his arm around her.
After a few hours a doctor walks out.

"Mr. and Mrs. Johnson..." The doctor begins to say.
"Yes? Is he okay doctor? Please, is he alright?" They both say in unison.
"I'm so sorry. The bleeding was internal on his brain. We did all we could. I'm sorry."
Noah's mother burst out into tears. She falls to hospital floor in hysterics.
Noah's father cries but you can tell he's trying to stay strong for his wife.
Jade starts to cry.
Her father hugs her tightly.
"How could I lose both my sons? This isn't fair!" Noah's mother cries out.
"It's going to be alright darling. We will get through this together."
Jade's father walks Jade slowly out of the hospital.

Jade hasn't been been back to school in weeks. Everyone is calling her and sending her messages telling her how sorry they are.
More sorry people she has to deal with.
"Jade, are you in here?" Asks Jade's father.
"Yes."
"I brought you some Chinese food and a hot chocolate."
"Thanks dad but I'm not hungry."
"I'll just leave it here then. Oh and Jade, this came in the mail today. It's a letter asking if you would like to come to the funeral."
The letter states the following:
"Jade,
We would really like you to attend Noah's funeral. It will be held in Saturday the 2nd of April. Starting at 10:30am. We will have something we need to give you in person. If you don't come, we understand, but the support would mean a lot.
Kind regards,
Kate & Keith Johnson."
"Are you going to go? I will come with you if you like."
"Thanks dad."
Jade gives her father a hug and a kiss on the cheek and leaves her room.
The funeral was only two days away.
