Jade starts to panic. She turns on the TV to take her mind off things. She listens to the news while she makes breakfast.
"30 degrees for here today, wow!" Jade mumbles.
Then the voice of a man comes upon the news channel.
"Early hours this morning a teenage boy who is believed to be the missing Noah Johnson was attacked a few meters down from 'good ol' seafood', the local 'fish & and chips' shop. The boy remains in the hospital in critical condition . It has been believed that the boy had been nearly beaten to death by a group of people. Anyone who heard or saw anything at all is urged to contact the local police at beachtown bay. Back to you in the studio Natalie ."
Natalie begins.
"Thank you for that Rob. On another note, the teenager Jade Sinclair is still believed to be missing. Her family is distraught and anyone with information is urged to call the police."
Jade stares at the TV for what seems to be an eternity. What has she just heard? Jade gets all their things together and catches a bus to the hospital. When she gets there, two policemen are waiting outside.

"Hi miss, can we help you with anything?" Asks one of the policemen.
"Um, I'm the missing girl. Jade Sinclair. I was with Noah. We ran away. Is he alright? Can I please see him?"
"Not at this moment we will need to contact your parents first. Noah's parents are in the waiting room. Go and wait in there for us please."
Jade walks into the waiting room and both of Noah's parents are hugging each other and crying.
Jade hears her name called.
"Jade!" Cries out Jade's father.
"I'm sorry. SO sorry dad. I'm sorry."
Both Jade and her father start crying.
"I'm glad you're alright. Please don't do this again." Pleads Jade's father.
Jade's father goes over and shakes Noah's father's hand.
"I'm so sorry for what happened. How is he?" Asked Jade's father.
"We don't know yet. We're waiting for the doctors..." Responded Noah's father.
