They share a kiss for a second time.
"that was perfect."
"it really was. I'm sorry for everything."
"Don't be, it's fine. But there is one more thing, I want you to be my girlfriend, what do you say?"
"Yes, I'd really like that."
Nate kisses Jade again and gives her a hug. They both walk hand-in-hand down the stairs. After a few hours of hanging out with each other Nate takes Jade home.

One afternoon he goes for a walk with his dog down to the park. As he walks he sees his ex-girlfriend, Carly.
"Nate? Hi!"
"Hi Carly ..."
"so I know it's been a while but I still really love you. We were and still are perfect for each other. I want to give our relationship another go."
"Uh, sorry... I have a girlfriend."
"what's her name? Anyone I know?"
"Her name's Jade. I don't think you would know her. Hey look, I have to get home. It was good seeing you I guess. Take care."
As Nate walks home and he tells himself out loud that he's glad he didn't have to speak for it to her for too long. She, first cheats on him after they dated for a year and then tells him she still "loves" him? Pathetic. He puts the dog in the backyard and goes inside for dinner.
"So... You and Jade seem very cosy. What's going on there?" Asked kelly.
"You two totally like each other!" Alisha blurts out.
"Oo la la. Love birds." Ally says.
"Shut up. Yeah, we do like each other . In fact we're dating."
"Just be careful love. She's a vulnerable girl."
"I know. I'll look after her."

That night Nate receives a call from Jade.
"Nate, I'm scared, my dad's going out to a work dinner and I'm home alone. There's someone outside my window. I don't know who else to call..."
