Jade waits till she gets home.
She goes to her room, closes the door, and opens Noah's letter.
It states the following:
"Jade,
I don't know when j will ever give you this letter. Perhaps when I ask you to be my girlfriend some time while we're running away. I already know I like you. In fact, I think I love you. I told you that once and I knew you couldn't say it back but I saw it in your eyes and that was enough for me. I hope our run away time is beautiful and happy. So Jade, please remember this experience and I love you.
-Noah xoxoxo"
Tears roll down Jade's eyes. She cries for hours.

She starts school again and tries to live her life like normal. 5 months have passed since Noah died.
"Tonight I'm having Mike and his wife and kids over for dinner remember?" Asked Jade's father.
"Who's Mike?"
"He's a work friend. Very nice guy, he has a few kids. I think one is around your age."
Mike arrives at 7pm with his wife, twin daughters and son. Mike introduces his family to Jade and her father.
"This is my wife Kelly, my daughters Ally and Alisha, and my son Nate is just grabbing something from the car, he'll be inside in a second."
"Lovely names, nice to meet you all finally. Mike talks about you guys a lot. This is my daughter Jade."
"Nice to meet you Jade." Greets Mike.
Nate walks into the lounge room where Jade is sitting. All the adults and twin girls have gone out the back to huddle around the campfire.
Jade looks at Nate. He looks identical to Noah.
All the memories flash back...
