Nate storms out and back down the stairs. He slams the front door shut after him. Jade attempts to call out his name but he's already gone.
She sits on the bed for a while. She eventually goes downstairs.
"jade? Whats wrong? I saw Nate storm out..." Jade's father ask as he approaches jade from the doorway.
"um yeah, he got upset at me..."
"why?"
"its a long story dad."
Jade's father shrugs it off. He leaves Jade to be. On her way she finds herself walking into the graveyard gates. She walks over and sits beside Noah's grave.
"oh Noah. I've missed you so much. Did we have anything real? Or did I just feel like we did?"
Jade waits for a while, almost as if she expects Noah to spring up and reply to Jade in his I-don't-care voice. Jade laughs a little at the thought of her and thinking Noah would pop up. After a while Jade gets up and leaves. She sees Nate sitting on the doorstep when she arrives home.
"Hey, I'm sorry about before."Jade apologizes.
"I think we need to talk."
"So do I. I want to explain. I loved Noah. Maybe I was attached with a fake connection but something about him draws me in. I miss him."
"I understand that."
"I like you though. I enjoy hanging out and talking with you."
"Jade, it's fine. I get it. Noah was your first love."
"Yeah, he was."
"I've decided something..."
