Chapter Twenty Two Breaking Point Season 1, Episode 4 "I was scared okay? I didn't know what else to do!" ====================================
Diana left, leaving Amelia under the interrogating eyes of her friends. "There's no way that's true." Sarah says. "Right, Lia?" "I..." Amelia starts looking down. "We thought you were better." Grayson says. "Guys please, just... let it be." Amelia begs. "Let it be! You're killing yourself!" Jonathan says. "Well then you don't have to pick between me and Eliza, do you?" Amelia says, grabbing a drink before turning on her heels and walking away.
Amelia found herself talking to Louis Fletcher. Every so often she would catch the others looking at her, but she tried to brush it off. There was so much going on in her life that she told no one about and didn't plan on telling anyone soon. The last thing she needed was her friends judging her for the choices she makes to help her through. "You know when I got your message I was surprised. I thought you quit all this and you hanging out with us in the corner was just an every so often thing." Louis says, pulling a bag with pills out of his jacket and handing them to Amelia. "Well, you know. Desperate times call for desperate measures." Amelia says, putting the bag into her handbag. "Want to talk about what's going on?" Louis says, causing Amelia to shake her head. "No even a little bit." Amelia says, taking a sip of her punch which had most definitely been spiked. As the blonde looks away from Louis she sees Tag grab a knife but drop it. She could slightly hear the sound of the knife cutting his skin, so she rushes over. "Tag." Amelia says, noticing his hand shaking rapidly. "What the hell? What's going on?" "I don't know." Tag admits, grabbing the table but it breaks the corner. Tag's hand stops shaking and Amelia places a hand on her shoulder. "You okay?" Amelia says, causing Tag to nod at her as Wellnitz comes over. "I'm sorry I'll fix it." Tag tells Wellnitz. "You can't afford a burger. How are you going to pay for some nice ass furniture?" Wellnitz asks, before pushing Tag against the table. "Wellnitz!" Amelia shouts trying to get him off tag but Wellnitz pushes her away, causing her to slam into the wall. "Hey, hey. What's going on?" Jonathan asks, coming over with Grayson. "Mind your own business, Kent." Wellnitz tells him. Amelia notices Tag's hand shaking rapidly again, before he runs out. "What's going on?" Jade asks, as her, Sarah and Jordan join them. "I don't know. I'll... I'll go check on him." Jonathan says. Jonathan then walks away and Amelia follows him.
Amelia and Jonathan found themselves in the woods, standing infront of Tag who's whole body was rapidly moving. "Tag, just breath." Amelia says, as Jordan and Jade join them. "Just breath. It's going to be okay." "I can't control it." Tag says. "You need to get away." "Amelia, go get help." Jade tells her. Amelia hesitated for a moment before running off. "You need to use the ELT." Jonathan says. "I think I did this to him." Jordan tells his brother and sister. "What?" Jade asks. "What are you talking about?" "The bonfire. The party. I think my heat vision caused an explosion and it effected him somehow." Jordan explains. "Okay you can run that theory past Bill Nye later. Right now, we need dad." Jonathan says. "You remember what grandpa said, dads too busy saving the world. Look he's not the only one who can do this." Jade says, seeing the doubtful look on Jonathan's face. "Jon, trust me." Jade then rushed over, grabbing Tag's wrist causing him to stop shaking. Tag stops for a minute and looks at him before starting again, sending Jade flying back. "Jade!" Jonathan shouts, as him and Jordan run over to her as Tag speeds away. "Just breath it's going to be okay." The two boys look back to see Tag freaking out. Jordan grabs the ELT and calls there dad. The two boys continue to try and get Jade up but she had been knocked unconscious. Clark arrives and grabs Tag, flying him up.

After the party, Jonathan had walked Amelia home. The pair walk in to find the house completely empty. "Where's your parents and Addison?" Jonathan asks. "Gone up to see my grandparents who live in Kent." Amelia says. "When will they be back?" Jonathan asks. "Could be any time between a week or 6 months." Amelia says. "Why didn't you go with them?" Jonathan asks. "Punishment for quitting the cheer team. And according to them I can't miss any school. The Cushing family know I'm here alone so Lana brings me over some food and everything I need everyday, but they don't have enough room for me to stay so my neighbours are also keeping an eye on me." Amelia says. "How long have they been gone?" Jonathan asks. "A couple days after I quit the cheer team." Amelia says. "Is that why you've fallen back into-" Jonathan asks, cutting himself off not wanting to mention it. "Yeah. I love my parents I really do. There the best parents in the world when they are here. And they always make sure I'm safe when they're not here, but... they never are here. It's always a trip to see family or a work trip." Amelia says. "Amelia, you should have told me this was going on. I want to be there for you." Jonathan tells her. "I was scared okay? I didn't know what else to do!" Amelia shouts. "I- I didn't want to lose you." "You won't lose me." Jonathan says, walking over and wrapping his arms around the blondes shoulders. "I promise." The pair stay like that for a couple moments, Jonathan kisses the side of Amelia's head before the pair pull apart. "Thank you." Amelia says. "I don't need to choose." Jonathan tells her. "What?" Amelia asks. "Earlier you said something about me choosing between you and Eliza. Truth it. I don't need to choose. It's you. It's always been you since that summer we met." Jonathan tells her. Amelia smiles before leaning up and kissing him. "Only two more days then Eliza will be down, right?" Amelia asks, keeping her forehead resting against his. "Right." Jonathan says. "Can't wait." Amelia says. "I know it's going to be hard for you to completely quit the alcohol and drugs over night. But I want you to know. I'm with you every step of the way." Jonathan tells her, causing the blonde to smile. "Thank you." Amelia says. Jonathan's phone then goes off. "It's my dad. I got to get home. Why don't you come with me. We have a spare room you can stay in till your parents get back." Jonathan says. "I'll be okay. Thank you though." Amelia says. "I don't like the idea of you being here on your own." Jonathan says. "I'll message you if anything happens, okay?" Amelia tells him. "How about you message me every hour so I know your safe." Jonathan suggests. "Deal." Amelia says, with a small laugh. Jonathan smiles before kissing the blonde then leaving.
