CHAPTER EIGHT: the battle of starcourt────────────────
Eleven continues to scream in pain, Andre looked at the wound to see something moving around inside— making his face scrunch in disgust once more.
"Keep her talking. Keep her awake, okay?" Jonathan says. Eleven continues to cry in pain, tears falling down her eyes as she sobbed.
I see El grab onto Andre's hand for comfort, since the pain in her leg was worsening. Andre looks at Mike with worry, "what bit her?" He asks.
"The mind flayer." Mike replies while looking at El's leg once more, his eyebrows creasing and eyes looking at the wound which was still bleeding.
I see Jonathan come back with a knife in his hand and a wooden spoon, "Okay. Alright, El? This is gonna hurt like hell, okay?"
Eleven sobs. "Okay."
"Need you to stay real still." Jonathan says. "Here, you're gonna want to bite down on this, okay?"
Eleven bites down on the wooden spoon, whimpering in pain as she felt the thing still moving around in her leg.
"Do it." Mike tells Jonathan.
I see the blade pierce through her skin as she cried loudly, her wound opens and the thing that was moving inside was thrashing around a lot— Jonathan reached inside and tries to take out whatever was moving inside her leg.
"Jonathan!" Nancy shouts.
"Stop talking!" Jonathan replied.
"No! Stop it!" Eleven shouted as tears fell from her eyes, she takes the wooden spoon out her mouth. "Stop! Stop!"
Eleven grunts as she sits ups, tears falling down her eyes. "I can do it. I can do it."
I look at Andre who looks at me, then we both glanced back at el as we watched her sitting up and panting, I could tell the pain in her leg was unbearable.
Eleven uses her powers and tries pulling the thing that was moving inside of her leg— out. The lights begin to flicker, glass shatters which causes me to yelp, Andre covers one of his ears and wraps his arms around me protectively.
Once she pulled whatever that was in her leg out, she threw it far away from herself towards the ground, the tiny little creature crawls away and chitters painfully— but I see someone's foot stomp on it.
