CHAPTER FOUR: dear billy

────────────────

Andre stares at the wall where the grandfather clock once was, his breathing going in heavy exhales before he turns around to face everyone else, "That's not even the bad part." He says while glancing at us.

We make our way back to Ms.kelly's office, everyone settled down and I took a seat in one of the chairs as I saw max walk over to the flies, "Fred and Chrissy, they both came to Ms.kelly for help. Uh, they were both having headaches, bad headaches that wouldn't go away. And then...then the nightmares. Trouble sleeping. They'd wake up in a cold sweat. And then they started seeing things. Bad things. From their pasts. These visions, they just...they kept on getting worse and worse, until eventually...everything ended."

I turn to Andre and we both locked eyes, "vecna's curse." I say.

Andre nods slowly before speaking. "Chrissy's headache started a week ago. Fred's six days ago. I've been having them for five days, same as max. I don't know how long we have. All I know is that, for Fred and Chrissy, they both died less than 24 hours after their first vision. And me and max just saw that goddamn clock, so..." Andre breathes shakily before closing his eyes and opening them. "Looks like we're both gonna die tomorrow."

I gulp nervously and looked at Andre once more, he had his head lowered and he gripped the table pretty hard, I noticed the scars around his wrist but don't say anything about it, see..this is what I was worried about, lack of communication coming from him— he could talk to me but he was just pushing me away.

I sat inside mike's basement, seeing in a chair while reading over a old newspaper, Andre seemed to be wearing a different outfit today— it was a black and white jacket with a black t-shirt underneath, he wore some black high waisted jeans with some black combat boots and his hair wasn't tied up this time, he also wore a silver ring on his ring finger, as well as a small chain necklace with a cross symbol on it.

I watched as he was writing something, and his eyes were focused on the envelope, seems like he had written one for me and the others except his aunt— I was worried about him, Nancy and Robin told us about the plan they had, and they were headed to pennhurst.

That's when I hurried and looked away, I felt him grab my arm and pull me up lightly, "can we..talk?" Andre whispers lowly and guided me away from the others— I nodded and stood from across him.
