Prologue: Welcome To Garreg Mach

Our story begins with a sweeping view of Garreg Mach Monastery. A new year for Fodlan and the Officer's Academy has begun. The Archbishop welcomes the new students to the monastery, and believes that this will be a typical year as it's been since the academy's opening. However, not only did the surprise visit of Captain Jeralt and his twin children Byleth bring Rhea's spirit higher than it's ever been, but she entrusted the two with teaching not just one house, but all three houses at the same time. The other instructers, Manuela, Hanneman, and Jeritza, were at first upset over the news, but the Archbishop reassured them that they would be helping the professors Byleth with teaching the three houses. While it was a strange shake up within the monastery after so long, what would soon come next would shake Rhea and her ideals to her very core

Rhea: enjoying tea next to the Amiibo Gazebo Ah. Another beautiful day here at the monastery. And it just got even better knowing that I have finally found the vessels of the goddess. I never thought I'd see them ever again, and yet here they are after so long. Perhaps this year I might finally be able to bring her back. sighs Everything is going so well.

suddenly, the Amiibo Gazebo begins to glow, surprising the Archbishop. The gazebo projects a beam of light into the sky and coming down from the heavens, three characters appear in front of the gazebo. Two men, one woman. Each wearing a different color; red, blue, and yellow. They also had different weapons on them such as gauntlets, a sword, and an arm cannon. These three characters were the Miis of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate; Brawler, Swordfighter, and Gunner

Brawler: looks around Welp, this looks like the place.

Swordfighter: So, this is Garreg Mach huh?

Gunner: Gotta say, this place looks pretty sick. No wonder this place is used as a school.

Brawler: Speaking of that, we'd better find... um, who do we have to find?

Swordfighter: I think Mario told us to look for, Archbishop Rhea? She's apparently the head of this place? 

Gunner: Well we'd better start looking for her. Who knows how long it'll take. 

the three begin to walk but run right into Rhea who confronts the three

Swordfighter: looks up Uh, hi?

Gunner: You wouldn't happen to know where Archbishop Rhea is, would you?

Brawler: Wait, hold on. pulls out a photo for the others to see Well that was easy. We found her.

the three look back up again, only to see that they're surrounded by soldiers with weapons pointed at them

All 3: ... Welp.

Catherine: Who are you!? State your name and intentions against Lady Rhea!

Gunner: Well, um. I'm Gunner, and these are my friends Brawler and Swordfighter.

Brawler: We have no bad intentions against the archbishop. We only wish to speak to her.

Catherine: And why is that!?

Swordfighter: We are here to offer a proposition that she cannot help but accept.

Brawler: So uh, where'd she go?

Gunner: And where did all of you guys come from?

Byleth Twins: walk past Catherine and the others Hi Catherine. turns around Woah! What's going on?

Catherine: Forgive me Professors, but these three people just showed up out of nowhere as Lady Rhea was enjoying her tea.

Brawler: Hold on, you're the Byleth twins?
