Chapter 1 - The Mission

 "Diana, handa ka na ba na harapin siya?" Lucia asked Diana. Hindi niya mapigilan ang ngiti sa mukha niya at tiningnan ito. Lucia can clearly see the happiness she felt in her eyes. Lucia has been with Diana since she was a child but she never saw her this excited before. Hindi niya ito masisisi dahil matagal na talaga nitong hinintay ang araw na ito.

"Oo naman po Nay Lucia. Matagal ko ng hinintay ang araw na ito. I can finally see her again kahit pa hindi ko naman maalala ang mukha niya" She chuckled and pressed her bag in her body and hugged it tightly. Despite the thrill of excitement and happiness that she felt, she's still anxious about the thought of meeting one of the most precious people in her life. Iniisip niya kung pareho lang ba sila ng nararamdaman ngayon na magkikita na sila.

"let's go?" Lucia asked when she noticed the sudden change of her mood. Kanina lang ay excited ito pero naging kabado na. Napangiti nalang si Lucia, alam niya ang nararamdaman nito dahil kahit siya ay kabado din. Diana nodded at her and with just a wave of her hand a portal appeared in front of them. Diana let out a deep breath before entering the portal. Sumunod naman agad si Lucia and made the portal disappear.

Nang makalabas na sa kabilang side ng portal ay isang maliit na bahay ang tumambad sa kanila. It was small but it was really nice to look at. Diana was amazed and her eyes sparkled when she saw the flowers and the decors designed at the front of the house. It's still dark since it's probably just 2 or 3 in the morning but she can clearly see everything about the house. They discreetly walk to the door and Lucia knocked.

"Mina? Mina? It's me Lucia. Nandiyan ka ba?" tawag ni Lucia pero wala silang nakuha na sagot. She tried opening the door and wondered why it was opened easily. Kilala niya ang kaibigan, mahigpit ito sa seguridad lalo na at may inaalagaan itong importanteng tao. Dahil bukas naman ang pintuan ay pumasok na sila sa loob. Their eyes widen in surprise when they saw how messy the place was. Things are scattered everywhere, pieces of broken glasses, ripped sofas, broken paintings and many more. Nakaramdam naman ng kaba si Diana sa nakita.

"Nay, bakit ganito?" Hindi ito ang inaasahan niyang makita. She was hoping for a happy reunion but this happened.

"Hindi ko alam" tanging sagot ni Lucia. Parang nawalan siya ng lakas dahil sa nakikita. She face palmed and weakly sat on the nearest seat.

"Nasaan sila? Nasaan ang kapatid ko" Diana was really worried dahil baka kung ano na ang nangyari sa kapatid niya. Saka lang naalala ni Lucia ang pakay nila doon at mabilis na tumayo. "Let's find them"

"Titingnan ko lang ang mga kwarto"Tumango si Lucia at naghiwalay sila upang mas mapabilis ang paghahanap.

Diana was searching in an empty room when she heard someone moaning in pain. Sinundan niya ang boses at hinanap kung saan ito galing. Nang marating na ang pinanggalingan ng ingay ay napahawak nalang siya sa bibig niya dahil sa pagkabigla. She saw a lady lying on the floor, bath with it's own blood. Lumapit siya at lumuhod sa gilid nito. She carefully placed the head of the lady on her bent knees and placed her two fingers on her neck to check her pulse. She sighs in relief when she felt the beat of the pulse. She touched the lady's cheeks and hoped for it to talk.

"Miss? Are you okay?" tanong niya.

"Parang hindi na ako magtatagal" hirap na wika ng babae. Nataranta naman si Diana dahil sa sinabi nito. Hindi niya pinagarap na may mamatay sa harapan niya mismo. Natatakot siya doon. She's scared of death, scared if someone will be taken by death.

"Nay!" tawag ni Diana kay Lucia. Nang marinig ni Lucia ang sigaw nito ay agad siyang pumunta sa kinaroroonan ni Diana.

"Diana bakit?" she asked when she arrived at the room. Napatingin siya sa babaeng nakahiga. She was shocked because that woman is the person they are looking for. Lumapit siya sa kanila at lumuhod kagaya ni Diana. "Mina! Anong nangyari?"
