"The Scythe Devil will end your life!"

I froze in suspense. Scythe Devil..? In human form! I mean, she looks like the part now..?

Standing in front of us, muttering curses to herself was a devil. We were pushing her back, but now something in the air had changed. Her appearance was more menacing, as small horns grew from the side of her head, dark streaks flowing from her eyes.

"T-Tazia?!" I urged her to come up with something. "W-What are we going to do?!"

A purple aura engulfed the room, and Yukari made a cross slash from where she was standing. Leaping in front of me, both Kobeni and Tazia blocked it with their respective weapons, but staggered at the same time.

"Ngh!"/"Oof!"

Shoving the attacker to the side, Tazia attempts to take a stab at Yukari. To no avail, the swift scythe was able to stop it with ease.

I tried to punch Yukari to throw her off balance with my ghost hands, but in a moment Yukari had sent a purple projectile my way.

Kobeni recovers and she deflects it away, slicing the store wall cleanly as it goes through.

Checking on our third teammate, she seemed to be out of it.

Biting her lip, I noticed Tazia seemed to be in a dilema herself, looking as if she was considering a heavy decision.

Distracted in that moment, Yukari had taken advantage of our hesitation.

Kicking Kobeni to the side, I caught her with my ghost hands.

"HAHAHAH! DO SOMETHING NOW BITCH!" Yukari snapped at Tazia. She follows up with multiple combos, and Tazia struggles to block them.

I want to help, I really do! But I might end up making it harder for Tazia, considering she's protecting both me and Kobeni....

"Tch! You damn ruffian!" Tazia insulted. She manipulates her glass as it shatters from an attack, and she redirects the broken pieces into Yukari's torso.

Yukari easily parries all the pieces, but Tazia swiftly makes another rapier and attempts to stab her head.

"NOPE!" Yukari yelled as she grabbed the rapier with her hand, and she uppercut Tazia, shattering her weapon in the attack.

"GAH!"

Spitting out blood as she fell roughly against the floor, Tazia was getting handled harshly. Kobeni attempts to help out, but Yukari made a split second move.

"KOBENI!"

Making a cross slash across Kobeni's chest, Kobeni fell backwards as she made an attempt to save herself.

Blood sprayed across the ground, but the wound wasn't deep enough to kill her.

"A-Ah...!" Kobeni moaned out in pain. On the other hand, Tazia seemed to have froze up.

"T-Tazia! Get up!" I tried to call out. She ignored me completly.

"YOU'RE ALL ANTS TO ME! PATHETIC!" Yukari screams madly. "HAHAHAHAHA!"

No! I can't just stand here being protected! I wasn't raised to be a bitch!

"Grrrrrraghh!!!!!"

I ran over as fast as I could and attacked Yukari. She sidestepped me and made a quick slash horizontally.

I ducked using my initial instinct, and I tried to crush her with my fists in a downword motion.

"GHOST! KILL HER!" I screamed. Finally materializing out of thin air, the same Ghost Devil that came out against Katana-man stood over the Scythe Devil. Her eighty-six arms all went after the girl, but she parried most of them away.
