usually i wouldn't write multiple parts to a oneshot, but i feel like i want to space this one out a bit.

"I'm thinking we should get pizza after this! I know the perfect restaurant in the Crossroads." Arin called out while he transferred Spinjitzu into a small piece of metal; throwing it at the possessed robot, Lobbo. "Arin, it's not exactly the time!" Sora yelled.
"Focus. You can't make one mistake in these type of fights—" Lloyd was cut off suddenly by a flying dart. It made itself at home in his upper left arm. "You were saying?" Kai said.
"Crap—" The Green Ninja said as he fumbled to pull it out, only to collapse seconds later. "What did he shoot you with?" Sora asked as she finished tying Lobbo up.
"Some sort— agh, that stings— of poison or tranq. My arm is going numb." Lloyd winced. Zane scanned the blonde's figure. "It seems that you have taken a poison similar to the venom of the Great Devourer. It is similar, but not the same. How peculiar."
"Greaat, now how do I fix it? If it's anything like the Walking Dead, then I'm gonna' have to chop my arm off with a machete." Lloyd laughed softly, then clenched his eyes shut. He looked to his left to see purplish' tendrils slowly crawling up and down his arm, the point of origin being where he was shot.
That's when he got the most idiotic, yet smartest idea of his life.
The next few minutes of his life were a blurry nightmare. It was a moment mixed with a flash of red and immense fear as he decided to saw his own arm off as a quick way to stop the infection from spreading— corrupting— him into someone like.. his father. Before he knew it, his left side was a lot lighter than before.
Next thing he opened his eyes to was Kai's ugly face. The smell of incense was strong and he was back in his own bed in the Monastery. He tried to raise his hand but then he realized that his left arm was missing. Oh, yeah, you cut it off dingus.
Kai smiled worriedly. "Do you want some water and to try and eat something? You can take pain killers if you do. The procedure to stop the bleeding was hefty, so it might be a good idea."
Lloyd nodded weakly and Kai brought him a glass of water and some food. He ate a little bit and then he fell back on to the mattress. The pain was unbearable, but he tried to stay strong.
When Kai saw that the pain was subsiding, he tried to make conversation with him but Lloyd was quite silent. Kai took this as a sign that he needed to rest alone. "Let me leave you to it then." He walked out of the room and closed the door behind him.
As the shock slowly wore off, he began to think about his future. He wondered how he was going to cope with having just one arm and how he was going to fight again, how he was going to clean the dishes, and how he was going to train Arin and Sora. Lloyd started to feel exhausted despite sleeping for days prior. He knew that he needed to rest and recover. He didn't want to think about the future right now. Instead, he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, everyone was gathered around the breakfast table. Kai was talking about a fight against some gang members in the Crossroads. Meanwhile, Nya was finishing up the final touches on Lloyd's birthday present along with Zane.
After everyone had finished eating, they started watching TheLast of Us. Lloyd preferred to stay out since it was a touchy situation now.
Of course.
Nya and Zane came out with the gift they had been working on and handed it to Kai. He immediately gave it to Lloyd.
He carefully unwrapped the gift and he was amazed to see the titanium arm. It was a brilliant piece of engineering and he could tell that it was going to be quite useful.
Kai smirked and slapped the Green Ninja on his lower back. "See, my little bro! Everything is gonna be fine! You can go back to being a boring Master now!"
