{oneshot synopsis: cole and zane go to a carnival after all the other ninja left the monastery after nya's sea "death" and this is their way of coping.}

"Oh, what's that? That ride looks good," Cole said while pointing at a ride called the sky flyer.
Zane looked at the ride, a little hesitant at first. "Are you sure that is a good idea? It looks quite... terrifying."
Cole just chuckled. "Come on, Zane! Live a little! We're here to have fun, after all."
He still had some doubts but he didn't want to spoil his friend's fun. "Alright, if you are certain."
The two ninja waited in the line for the ride, with Cole practically bouncing up and down with excitement. "This is going to be great. I can't wait!"
Zane looked at his friend's enthusiasm with a smile, feeling a little better now. "Yes, I suppose this could be enjoyable."
The line slowly started to move and soon it was finally their turn. They climbed into one of the gondolas which was shaped like a cloud.
As the ride started to move, Cole's excitement didn't dwindle. He held onto the safety bar and looked around, taking in the view. "Look how high up we are!"Zane looked at the mechanisms of the attraction with a critical eye.
"Cole, I calculated the chance of this ride being faulty at approximately 10.3%. While the risk is small, there is always the possibility of a malfunction."
The Black Ninja chuckled at Zane's concern. "You really do think too much sometimes, buddy. Even then, if something does happen, we're both well-trained ninjas. We can handle it. And it's not like these rides are loaded into a trailer after the carnival leaves!"
Zane nodded and rolled his eyes, appreciating Cole's optimism. "I know. I just worry. It is in my nature."•
As they explored the carnival, the two came upon a food stand selling all sorts of deep-fried treats.
"Oh man, look at all those deep-fried goodies," Cole exclaimed. "We should definitely try some."
Zane raised an eyebrow, looking at the unhealthy but tempting food. "Are you sure about this? Fried food is not known for its nutritional value."
But Cole was already salivating. "Come on! When are we ever going to have an opportunity like this? We should enjoy ourselves tonight."Zane noticed his eagerness and decided to go along with it. "Alright, if you insist. But just this once, okay?"
They approached the food stand, and Cole promptly ordered an assortment of fried treats: onion rings, chicken strips, and especially some funnel cake.
The Ice Ninja looked at the unhealthy meal with a mix of curiosity and worry, but he reminded himself to let loose for the night. "I suppose one night of indulgence won't hurt."
