"Now, you better go easy on those training sessions ok?" Kai chided Lloyd while the rest of the others laughed.
Lloyd smiled weakly. "Mhm."
He couldn't help but feel a little bit of pain in his new arm at times but he could tell that it was something that he would get used to with time.
When he walked out into the courtyard, he found Arin and Sora waiting for him. They looked at him with a mixture of admiration for his sick new arm and concern. "How's your arm? Is it working ok?" Sora asked with a concerned look on her face. Lloyd flashed her a small smile and nodded. "It's working perfectly, Sora. I can feel it and use it just like my old arm," he lied to her through a clenched jaw.
"For today's lesson, you will be using teamwork to successfully attack me."
The two ninja-in-training were still nervous about hitting him but Lloyd reassured them that he could handle it. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" Arin asked.
"Don't worry about me. Just follow what I've taught you and work together," Lloyd instructed them.
Arin and Sora began to attack him, but they kept pulling their punches. Lloyd sighed, "Go all out guys. Hit me hard. I can handle it."
Just as the duel began to intensify, he tripped and missed his punch, and instead of hitting Arin, his new arm went through the Monastery wall.
"Holy sh—!" "—Arin."
Arin and Sora looked at each other and then back to the panting Green Ninja. "Are you okay?" She asked him.
"Yeah—I'm fine—wait, no nevermind," Lloyd said as he felt a sudden intense pain in his shoulder. He soon became unable to move his arm and it felt like everything was twisted up.
The pain soon became unbearable for Lloyd as he slid down the wall in pain. He could no longer hold himself back as he layed there shaking in pain. He clenched where it joined with his shoulder and unclenched it in a repeating motion.
Why can't this stupid arm just work?
Sora and Arin quickly ran to his side and help him down to the ground. They kept repeating "Are you okay?" over, and over again.
Lloyd opened his eyes for a second. "You've got to be kidding me? Someone's in pain and all you can ask is 'are you okay?' What does it look like?"
