"See, we've all got somethin' that we trapped inside
That we try to suffocate, you know, hopin' it dies
Try to hold it underwater but it always survives
Then it comes up out of nowhere like an evil surprise
Then it hovers over you to tell you millions of lies"

Guilt is a part of human nature. You try to bury it deep, thinking it will never see daylight. But when it comes back up, there's no other way but to admit defeat. It is there to stay.
Just when you think it has gone away, it surprises you with a reminder of what you have done in your past. You have to face it to move on.
You cannot run forever. You cannot hide forever.
It is only when you are honest enough to accept your guilt that you can truly move on.

Would you talk to your loved ones the way you talk to yourself?

Nya sobbed, she never does. She screamed into her pillow with guilt overwhelming her whole being. She tried to catch her breath. She was sweaty and shaking, her body convulsing with sobs. She felt like she was going to break apart any second. Her heart ached from the weight of her guilt, and her mind raced with a hundred different thoughts.
She knew she had to talk to someone about her feelings, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. Her friends had been through so much lately, she didn't want to burden them with her problems. But the pain was too much to handle alone.

Nya took a deep, shaky breath and got up from her bed. Her legs were weak, and she stumbled a little as she made her way to the door. She paused for a moment, her hand on the doorknob, feeling a sense of dread wash over her.

She hesitated for a moment, but then she opened the door.

There, standing in front of her, was Jay. His eyes were wide with concern, and he rushed to her side. "Nya, what's wrong? Are you okay?"
She tried to open her mouth to speak, but the words wouldn't come out. Instead, she just burst into tears again.

She tried to speak, but her words caught in her throat. She shook her head, feeling a wave of guilt wash over her. "It is my fault," she sobbed. "I killed Cole."
Jay's expression softened, and he immediately pulled her into a tight hug. "No, Nya, it's not your fault," he said firmly. "You didn't do anything wrong. It was an accident."

She buried her face in his shoulder, her body shaking with sobs. She felt like she was suffocating, but the embrace from Jay gave her a sense of warm comfort and blissful safety that she desperately needed.

"I don't know if I can keep going like this," she said, her voice muffled as she continued to cry. "I feel like I'm losing my mind. I can't sleep, I can't eat, I can't focus on anything. It's like my mind is stuck on a loop, constantly reminding me of the terrible thing I did."

Jay gently placed his hand on her cheek and looked her in the eyes. "Nya, sometimes holding onto guilt can be even worse than the mistake you made in the first place," he said softly. "You need to let go of it and forgive yourself. It's not going to happen overnight, but you have to start somewhere. And you don't need to do it alone. We're all here for you. Me, the team, Master Wu, everyone."
He kissed her on the cheek.

She closed her eyes and leaned into his touch, feeling the warmth of his hand on her cheek. She knew he was right. She had been holding on to her guilt for so long, it had become a part of who she was. But she had to find a way to let it go, for her own sake.

"Come on," he said, his voice soft and comforting. "Let's go get a hot chocolate and sit at the park. It'll help take your mind off things for a moment, and maybe the fresh air will do you some good."
He reached out his hand to her with a smile, and she took it. As they walked to the park together, she felt a small flicker of hope inside her. Maybe, just maybe, she could start to heal.
