*Tony opens the door and you rush over to Yelena she wraps her arms around you and pulls you into a tight hug you try to hide it but the relief of seeing her again makes you tear up she sits down and holds you for a moment before pulling back*
*she signs slowly as she speaks*
Yelena: its okay Y/n you're safe now
*signs*
Y/n: He told me you were dead he told me he ... K-I-L-L-E-D you
Yelena: its okay you can speak Y/n you don't have to sign right now
*you glance over to the glass and see a lot of people watching you your self conscious of your voice after years of dreykov forcing you to stay silent Wanda sees that you are uncomfortable*
Wanda: come on everyone let's give them them some privacy
*they leave Yelena gives you a reassuring smile*
Y/n: he's going to be so mad at me I've been messing up so much lately I'm trying to be good
*she still signs even though you're reading lips to help you learn*
Yelena: you're not going back there I won't let anything happen to you
*she gently cups your face with her hands and rubs her thumb across the bruise on your face you don't react to the pain*

Yelena: we can protect you you'll be safe here
Y/n: where is here? this cell?
Yelena: no you're at the avengers compound I'm guessing you haven't met them yet?
Y/n: not really I talked to Clint a bit
Yelena: let's go talk to them so they can help you
*she gets up but you don't move she sees the uncertainty on your face and smiles gently *
Yelena: I'll do the talking come on I've got you
*she holds out her hand and you take it she takes you out of the cell and into a big room full of people*
