                                              One Year Later...

 Brutis's P.O.V

"Hey guys, remember that one year long journey we took that one time." I barked.

"Ya, that one that happened last year." Jake barked back. All of us laughed.

"That was fun! but it didn't take a year." Sam yapped, he and his brothers were now six months away from being an adult. Shaylee wasn't happy about that.

"Well, you weren't there then we started it." Cloe retorted.

"And you were?" Sam fought back.

"Duh, I was a year and two months when you where born!"

I snorted and walked to my water bowl. The word "Ender" was written on it.

"I remember when I was called Brutis, I like that name better, I think it fits me, but that's probably because I grew up with it though."  I thought to myself.

Harvey's P.O.V

I joined Brutis at the water bowls, he was just staring at the water though.

"You alright?" I asked him.

"Fine, just thinking." He mumbled back to me.

"Okay." I simply replied. I dipped my head in my dish to drink from it. The sounds of running dogs shook the house and Brutis turned around quickly and snapped at Cloe, Shep, and Sam. Sawyer was at the vet, Hannah took him there this morning, he had a fever do to trying to swim in icy water. I grunted at Brutis and he started lapping at his water after mumbling something to himself.

Shaylee's P.O.V

I watched my almost-adult-pups racing around the house.

"Slow down!" I called as they passed by again. Hannah had moved us all into a bigger house with an upstairs. There was three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms were for us dogs, the other one was Hannah's. One bathroom was Hannah's and one belonged to us dogs too. Cloe was very fond of Shep, everyone could tell. Cocoa said he thinks they will be mates when Shep becomes an adult. I thought so too. Cloe would make a great mate for Shep. Unless the other two pups found love at the dog park, they had no plans in life. Actually, Sam's mate is the dog park and Sawyer's is any type of water that he can swim in. I had been watching the three young dogs running through the house for a long time. I was amazed they hadn't gotten tired yet.

Scout's P.O.V

"Two hours." I mumbled to myself. "They've been running through the house for two hours. Somebody needs to stop them before they drop down with exhaustion." When they three dogs where about to pass me again I bared my teeth at them and barked a serious, furious bark. Sam slid to a stop, but Shep and Cloe just continued on running and panting. Sam trotted over to his water bowl and Shaylee told him something with a stern look on her face. "I can't believe they're almost grown up!" I thought, remembering the day in the forest when five new pups were brought into the world. Sadly only three made it home. The three that made it though were a blessing. Sure they were exhausting and crazy and hard to control, but I still loved them. Cloe and Shep were starting to get close to me again. This time I jumped out and tackled Shep. My sons were all as big as me now, they grew fast, too fast. Cloe slid as she tried to stop herself. Shaylee trotted over and barked for them to get a drink then to sleep for a while.

Cocoa's P.O.V

The door opened and Hannah walked inside with Sawyer at her heals. He looked better.
