Astounding Butterflies

It all began with a simple glance
But it didn't start profoundly,
I was in denial at first
'Cause attachment is prohibited in me,
But I couldn't force it to ungrow

I got drawn to other gome,
But my eyes lingered on his
His force's pulling me back to him
I was halfway being whipped

I'd gape at him when I had the chance
The glances we share at each other,
Everytime our eyes met
Oh, sweet heaven

Looking into his eyes, its depth
He's the man with sincere and pure intentions
He utters words genuinely
He brings sunbeam to everyone

Watching him from distance and close wasn't different
He still seemed hard to reach
I wasn't able to embrace him,
Nor hold his hand
No physical touch, no confrontations

I fancy him, still
Even with small gestures,
It never fail to make my beats race

Our last gaze that night
The prelude, the friendship, the reminiscences
It still feels overwhelming

Wherever you are,
I hope you're well
I'll wait for your return
And I hope, on that day
I still have these astounding butterflies
