Daredevil

She had spread her frail wings,
Surrounded with peculiars.
The knife-rains had hit the fairy,
She rolled and whined in agony.

Amidst the undiscovered coverture,
A daredevil slithered through the hole.
The fay agaped at the scene,
She had tried to heal her wounds.

Like a ray of light outside the disguise,
The daredevil brought the faerie hopes.
She stumbled up to the stone.
And yet again, hopelessly smitten.
