Tissue
White papers lay on the floor.
They looked comfortable,
As if not tasted the bitter tears.
Even they witnessed the failure.
The waters flooded on the dry river.
That was almost dead — celebrated.
They thought it was a success,
But it came back — catastrophe.
The dam broke out—
The rice fields are ruined,
The palace is forbidden,
Tropes are suspended.
“What a failure,” they muttered.
The papers wet and crumpled,
The tissues she wipes,
Because of twenty-two mistakes.
