The phone on the mantle rings as the three lay asleep, the house absolutely demolished.

A voicemail of Susan's voice then plays through the phone.

"Hey kids! Manny got sick, so we are coming home a few days early." This makes the three kids shoot up quickly with wide eyes.

"Crap!" Greg yells, hurrying to stand up.

"Mom's going to kill us." Rodrick mutters to himself, grabbing his girlfriend's hand.

"Y/N get the kitchen, I'll get the living room and Greg...he," glances at the window, then double takes as he sees the absolute mess that is out there. "You get outside!" He strains. Making the two nod.

They rush to clean up the house, which takes them about an hour to do, because of their team work.

"Ok, mom should be home any minute, when she is, act natural." Greg says, making the two nods. Rodrick looks around.

"Rodrick..." Greg shouts. "The door!"

Rodrick glances confusedly at the door, before his eyes widen. "Oh my god." Painted across the door in black paint were the words 'Rodrick Rulez.' "What are we going to do!?" He shouts, exasperated.

Y/N just stays quiet trying to think of a solution, but Greg beats her to it.

"Downstairs!" Greg shouts, "your old bedroom door is downstairs!" Greg said excitedly. Making the two teens nod and run down to help him grab it.

...

"Go faster!" Greg shouts, as he watches Rodrick struggle with the screws.

"I'm trying" he grits, making Y/N soothingly rub his back.

"Just take a deep breath, and relax. You're to stressed." She tells him, he follows her instructions and finally get the last screw in.

"Yes!" Greg shouts.

The three start to walk away before Greg notices something, "Rodrick there's no lock on this door!" Greg shouts making Rodrick's eyes widen.

"Then we'll just have to convince them that there never was one in the first place." He looks around at the living room with a frown.

"It's almost too clean, mom will suspect something." He rushes to the kitchen, and grabs a bag of pretzels, placing it on the ground and crunching a few of them. "Perfect." He throws himself backwards on the couch, opening his arms for the girl to join him. Greg sits on the arm chair beside them, sighing.

The door opens with a creak and Susan's voice shouts out to the two.

"Rodrick, Greg, we're home!" Susan shouts, walking into the house in surprise, "hey it's not a mess in here," she says before looking at the ground and noticing the pretzels. "Hey I told you not to eat pretzels on the rug!" She says, bending down to pick them up.

"Y/N what are you doing here?" The girls eyes widen at the mention of her, she had totally forgot she wasn't allowed to be here.

"She had a family emergency, her parents couldn't...um.." Rodrick stutters, trying to decide what to say.

"They couldn't refund their tickets to a concert!" The girl almost shouted, making Susan sigh.

"Well then it's not your fault." She says in understanding, 'if only she knew the truth.' Y/N thinks to herself, smiling up at Susan.

As the kids think they're out of the way from trouble, Frank yells from down the hall.

"Hey! Who touched the sergent, and put him on the AC?!" The three sigh, before looking to Greg, making his eyes widen.

"Sorry, that must've bee me!" He shouts, reluctantly.

"These are not toys!"

Y/N snorts quietly before glancing at Rodrick.

"They are totally toys."
