The mimics were very much enjoying watching the two lovers all evening. Mimics loved to see real emotions. Loved to see and know the story. It made it easier for them to appear to be what and who they were mimicking.

Esti and Atticus had so many feelings, Marzipan and Mallow were practically drunk on all they had learned tonight. Were so glad they had decided to trust that Marisol meant it when she said she would only ever give them jobs that she knew they would enjoy.

It had been a large leap of faith for all. Tonight had made the gamble worth it. Tonight had been profitable, enjoyable, instructive, and downright enjoyable to the mimics. If this was the kind of work Marisol wanted from them they would be thrilled to work more with the intelligent succubus.

Marisol was personally friends with the demon that owned the club the mimics were taking the couple towards. A perfect location for the royal couple to let loose; and the mimics knew Leary would finally get laid once they entered the club and control of the royal couple management passed to Marisol directly. The mimics had been hiding in the servants' break rooms, lounges, and corridors for more than a week now. Trying different faces. They had never left the lost woods before. Had thought they would hate human city life. The opposite was turning out to be true.

According to the gossip the mimics had heard. A good portion of the staff were hoping Leary could finish her work early, while Theo and Joe were in residence. Leary was always more relaxed for at least a little while after a night with the handsome dragons. Not that many would complain loudly enough to be heard, but Leary had been uptight and micromanaging her staff for weeks now. Everyone knew she needed a little break. The mimics were looking forward to following up on that particular gossip tomorrow morning.

Except this evening would not play out quite how anyone imagined. Back at The Council complex. One of the night time runners doing a food delivery saw Leary walking back towards her own apartments in the staff wing of the tower, looking bitter and confused. The low level employee checked their own watch, fearing they had lost time or had some kind of medical episode Leary should have been with the dragons until nearly dawn based on history. Seeing how early the hour was, the runner ran to let everyone else know that Leary would not be in a good mood tomorrow like they had all been hoping.

As was the arrangement once a VIP went to a location under Marisol's preview; Marisol had assumed control of monitoring the new little queen, trusting that Mallow and Marzipan had things under control and fully confident in Lux keeping his establishment well in hand. Lux was as reasonable an incubus as they came, once you gave him a chance anyways. As Marisol did her final rounds through the tower. Making sure everything was secure for the evening, Marisol saw more and more glimpses of negative, worried and stressed feelings from some of the employees working the night shift, or finishing their staggered shift.

All employees under Leary's direction Marisol noticed. The Rock Fae woman ran a tight team, was known for being meticulous in her standards. Qualities Marisol appreciated. Leary was also known for being slightly moody when she didn't give herself enough time and opportunity to rest and recharge. It was no great secret that Leary more than enjoyed the company of two, annoyingly handsome dragons. Marisol frowned, something wasn't right in her domain and she had a feeling she knew where the problem had started.

Marisol didn't like using the talents gifted to her by her nature to spy on those just trying to do their jobs, but Marisol had her own concerns now. "Fuck." She breathed out as she put together that Leary had indeed gone to her dragon friends with benefits, but had left at nearly the same time the little queen was reportedly on her way to Muse with her consort and the Mimic guard detail.

Marisol abruptly turned on her heels, sending a quick text message to both mimics and to Lux warning all that Marisol suspected a stupid, self important dragon might be on his way to cause trouble. While on her way to Muse to deal with Theo, Mariol received a new, red alert on her phone.
