Chapter 22

[2 days later]

No-one's pov-

It was a new day. It's been 2 days since the accident.

Taehyung was now sitting inside the classroom while looking outside of the window.

She'll probably not come today as well - Taehyung thought.

Han-Ja hasn't been coming to the university since 2 days too.

Taehyung was in his thoughts when he felt a sudden presence beside him.

He quickly turned around to see Y/N finally after 2 days.

Y/N looked pale and a little thinner, as if she had lost weight.

Taehyung frowned.

Is she still not well? What might have happened to her? - Taehyung thought.

Y/N took a glance at Taehyung and put her head down on the table saying nothing.

He must have been really uncomfortable. He probably thinks I'm some creep or something. It would be better if I just keep quiet. - Y/N thought.

"Y/N?" Taehyung uttered in his softer than ususal voice.

Y/N shot her head up.

"Y-yes?" She didn't know why she stuttered but she did.

"How are you? I mean- Are you fine now?" Taehyung asked.

"Yes. Better" Y/N replied.

"What happened that day? Mind telling me?" Taehyung asked.

Shit. Shit. Shit. Why'd he ask me? What should I tell now? - Y/N thought.

"Er- Nothing. I just skipped my meals. That's why probably." Y/N said with a tint of hesitancy.

Taehyung nodded and chuckled sarcastically.

"You think I'll buy that?" Taehyung said after a few seconds while he looked intensely at Y/N.

"It's the truth-" Y/N was cut off by Taehyung.

"It isn't and I know it. You weren't okay that day. Something else is the reason and that reason ain't something small. So, mind telling me?" Taehyung asked again calmly.

Y/N took a deep breath but didn't reply.

She looked away from Taehyung and looked at the front before taking another deep breath.

"It's-" Y/N was about to say something but she was cut off by Taehyung's deep voice.

"It's fine. I understand. You obviously won't want to tell me." Taehyung said emphasizing on the word 'me'.

He chuckled slightly and looked away looking outside of the window.

Y/N didn't say anything.

It's true that she did not want to tell him.

She did not want to tell him the reason. She did not want to tell him about the flashbacks. Why would she? Taehyung was no-one to her. Moreover, he was her enemy. Why would she want to she her problems with him?

But the abnormal fact was that she did.

She did want to share it with him.

But at the same time she didn't want it as well.

One one hand she wanted to tell him. Tell him why she was like in a trance that day. Tell him why she held on to him so tightly. Tell him whatever happened. Tell him that she was sorry for making him uncomfortable. But on the other hand she was hesitant. Hesitant of voicing her thoughts.
