[A month later]

It was 3 p.m.

Y/N was in her office working on her laptop.

But her mind, of course wasn't at work.

In her mind, dwelled thoughts about him, and only him.

She was still in denial, denying the fact that he was not alive and that he wasn't in this world anymore.

Taehyung. Kim Taehyung. Her enemy.

But the things she felt for him, would describe Taehyung as anything but her enemy.

Y/N's belief in God was lost in these past few weeks.

It's been almost a month since she found out about his death.

That too, after a year since it happened.

It was pathetic, wasn't it? Her situation?

But it had always been pathetic. But it was unbearable at this point.

Oh how she wanted that heart of hers to stop beating.

Her mind wasn't hers anymore. She couldn't control what she thought anymore, she couldn't control what she felt anymore. Everything went out of her hand.

Everything.

The nightmares, the grief, the blame and the hatred, she was tired.

How long until a mere woman of 25 breaks?

How long until she gives up, gives up on her hope, her life?

She was strong, physically even though she didn't look like it but what about her mental health?

Hell, she would call herself a lunatic by now.

Everyone was seized with horror after listening to the news.

Jungkook broke down followed by Jimin and Hoseok.

Yoongi controlled his tears even though it hurt him as much as it did to the others.

It hurt Y/N so much, even though they had been close only for like 3 years, we cannot imagine how Taehyung's friends felt.

Yoongi, Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung were high school friends. Their hearts shattered listening to the news.

It was so sudden and horrifying.

Everything happened so suddenly. Suddenly he was gone, no text, no calls, no news and suddenly news comes, he's dead.

It wasn't acceptable. Hell, Y/N still wouldn't believe he's dead.

She still put sources to find him. But obviously, he was dead and she couldn't find him.

Soon, Y/N's phone started ringing.

Y/N picked it up without checking the ID.

"Hello, Y/N-ie?" Han-Ja's voice sounded from the other side of the phone.

Y/N hummed.

"Er- did you have your lunch" Han-Ja asked.

Y/N hummed in reply.

But Han-Ja obviously knew she hadn't eaten.

"Lier! Y/N- er- eat well. Don't skip meals. You have become thinner anyways, don't-" Han-Ja was cut off by Y/N.

"Stop pitying me. I'll eat when I feel like it." Y/N said in her usual cold voice.

Han-Ja felt bad but obviously Y/N's behaviour was justified enough.
