The Unexpected.

1|The Beginning

It was just another normal day of school, hanging out with my friend group.
I looked over to Emilio, one of my friends.

"Hey Emilio did you hear that AU got a girlfriend?" I asked him.

"Yeah I did, I'm kind of upset, but it's whatever. " He rolled his eyes at me.

I chuckled knowing how much Emilio liked AU. We continued eating our lunch, until I felt like getting a snack from the snackbar.
I looked over to my friend Ana and asked,

"Hey wanna come to the snackbar with me?"

"Yeah let me just pull out my money." She replied.

I looked at her watching her open her backpack and pull out her little wallet. She looked up at me and we both stood up and started walking towards the snack bar.

As we were walking i saw that one of the bad boys was walking towards the snackbar as well. I didn't pay much attention though, as they never did anything to me or my friend group- well except for Emilio.

Emilio was obsessed with AU, one of the bad boys.

We continued walking until we reached the line. The guy got in line behind us, but he looked at me and asked me a question.

"Can I cut you?" He smiled deviously.

I looked towards my friend Ana, unsure what to say. She spoke up,

"Get a job you stupid idiot" She rolled her eyes.

My eyes widened at her response, and this is where I knew things were about to go down. He spit back,

"Calling me stupid, huh?" He gave a dirty look towards Ana.

I looked at Ana, signaling that we should probably get the hell out of here before he beats both of us up.

But he didn't.

He stood there, not saying another word.
Me and Ana looked towards each other unsure of what had just happened. We finally got our snacks and went back to our table.

"You guys would not believe what just happened!" Ana said.

The group looked over towards us.

"What happened?" Emilio, Susanna, and Gisselle said in sync.

"Well-" I cut Ana off.

"Nothing happened, just a little uhm.. We ran into Matthew." I said.

"Matthew? THE Matthew Price? " Gisselle said with her eyes widened.

"Yes, but nothing happened" I smiled.

"Why are you lying? He clearly gave us a dirty look," Ana said. "And I yelled at him" She said with a confident look.

"You did what?!" Susanna replied.

"Okay, you know what, lets just forget this happened." I said.

I sat down at the table, trying to forget what happened at the snackbar line. I looked up towards where the bad boys sat. They looked stupid, like animals in a zoo.

I caught one of them staring at me though.
