~Matthew price~

It's been a month since me and liza got into a car crash- that was set up by Taylor Castle. The obvious thing we should've done was go to the police and explain everything that Taylor's done.

But we didn't. We didn't because.. Well before I met liza I did... Pretty bad stuff. And unfortunately, Taylor and I were together back then. We have a long history together, which I wish we didn't.

But I can't go to the police without her telling them about everything I've done too.

She could've killed Liza. I can't let that happen again, I can't put Liza in danger. I have to protect her.

|July 11th|

Tomorrow is Liza's 18th birthday. While she was out with her family celebrating, Her friends and my friends came to my house. About 2 weeks ago we decided we would throw a surprise birthday party for her.

Everyone was in my living room, eating different things that they got from my pantry. I walked up to a seat next to Adrian. They were already talking about some plans.

"We should get a taco stand!" Susanna exclaimed.

"We are not doing that babe, remember guys we have to stay in the budget." Felix said.

"Since when were you worried about money? And since when were you and Susanna together?" I said confused.

He rolled his eyes instead of answering me.

"Okay, here's what we got so far," Emilio opened up the notepad.

Wow, they are serious about this.

"So Matthew, you'll take liza out to like her favorite restaurant or something, and then the rest of us will decorate the house and invite everyone, we'll then text you and tell you when you can come back, probably around 5pm." He finished.

"How many people are invited?" Isaac asked.

"Well.... There's like 100 people on the list... But don't worry we can slim it down!" Emilio explained.

"100?! We can't have that many people here! It's my house guys remember." I blurted

"And that's why I said I would slim it down!" Emilio replied.

I sighed and continued hearing them speak about what the plans for tomorrow would be.

"I already finished inviting about 30 people that are for sure coming." Ana said.

"That's fine, we don't need more people." I stated

"What? It's her 18th birthday, there has to be a bunch of people here!" Ana argued.

"You know what," I said, standing up from the couch,"you guys invite as many people as you want- keep it below 100. I'll be back later."

"You're leaving?" Felix asked.

I nodded my head as I made my way towards the front door, "I got some things to catch up on."
