~Matthew Price~

We were already on our way back to my house. Everything was going so well, and I hope it will continue like that throughout the rest of the day. Me and Liza were still holding hands, our hands on her thigh.

Everything that happened in the restaurant kept replaying through my mind. She looked drop dead gorgeous, and the necklace and ring looked so good on her. And my favorite part from all of that was when we said "I love you"

I'm not lying when I say that I would've told her that I love her back when we first met. I smiled as I remembered our first interaction at the snack bar, and how Ana snapped back at me.

I never expected us to be here right now. From first meeting at a snack bar line to being in a car together holding hands and saying "I love you".

I got out of my thoughts and looked at her. I saw her smiling at her phone.

"What is it?" I asked.

"The girls are saying ridiculous things." She replied.

"Like what?"

"Like how they wished they had the same love we have" she giggled.

Hearing that her friends wanted the same kind of love that me and Liza have made me feel amazing. It's only been 2 months, yet I've never been more in love than I am right now.

"They all have their own boyfriends. Do they not love them?" I raised an eyebrow.

"They obviously love each other, but I guess we're just... Just that power couple." She giggled again.

I looked at her before laughing, "Power couple? Seriously?"

We laughed even harder, "I didn't know what else to say" Liza laughed.

I shook my head and looked forward towards the road. Finally, we made it to my neighborhood. My heart started racing, scared of what Liza would think of this surprise. Once we pulled up to the front of my house, we both got out of the car and she stared at the rose petals and balloons that were around in the front yard.

"Matt, what is this?" She asked, her hand covering her mouth.

"You'll see." I smirked as I grabbed her hand and walked towards the front door.

Apparently I was acting "weird" because Liza spoke up again, "Matt, you're scaring me, what's going on?" She raised an eyebrow.

I didn't answer her, but instead opened the door. All the lights were off. We walked inside, and I was waiting for the moment everyone would pop up and yell "surprise", which is exactly what happened.

I was now getting a bit worried- or more excited for whatever Matt had planned inside the house. He didn't answer my question, but opened the door. As we walked inside the house the lights were off, but I heard some noises coming from the kitchen, but before I could make my way to the kitchen all the lights turned on and I froze. People then jumped up and yelled "surprise!" And others were yelling "happy birthday!"

I was stunned, shocked, and speechless. My jaw dropped as I looked at everyone. This is why everyone had been acting so weird, they were busy planning a surprise birthday party for me! My friends came running to me and hugged me.
