2|Who is she?

After that weird encounter with those girls at the snack bar, I walked back towards my friends.

"Yooo, dude did you get our cookies? "Adrian Urin asked.

"Yeah, here." I started handing out the cookies to everyone.

"Yo who were those girls you were talking to? Seems like one of them got mad at you. " Issac chuckled.

"I just asked if I could short-cut. I didn't wanna wait in that long ass line for just some cookies," I replied.

"But yeah one of the girls did get mad at me. Told me to get a job. " I laughed.

The group laughed as well. I looked over to the table where those girls were sitting at. I was looking at only one girl though. I didn't know her name, or her friends names. But she looks gorgeous.

This couldn't be happening. I'm supposed to be a guy who doesn't care about school and hangs out with every girl. But she... She was different.

I shook my head trying to forget the thought of me liking her. I looked up one more time, but this time I catched her looking at me. I quickly looked away and started talking to the boys.

"Oh my gosh," I said looking away from Matthew.

The group looked at me confused. They all raised their eyebrows and asked me what happened.

"I- I just caught him staring at me." I said with my eyebrow raised as well.

"The Matthew Price was staring at you?" Ana asked.

"Oh no girl. You will not be falling for him, hes a bad boy." Emilio said with a worried look.

I looked at him with a confused look.

"Emilio you shouldn't be talking when you like Adrian Urin, plus, I don't like Matthew, I could never. " I replied.

Emilio quickly looked away from me, embarrassed. I giggled at him, knowing that I was right.
The bell finally rang to go back to class. Me and my friends stood up and starting walking towards our classes. Me and Ana had the same 5th period, so we always walked together.

"Liza, did you hear that-" she looked around us.

"Matthew, " she whispered

"Is in our 5th period now?"

I looked at her with a mixed expression of confusion and excitement. I'm not sure how he could've gotten into our 5th period, as it was AP Calc, and he wasn't smart.

"I'm just so confused how he's in there, he's stupid!" Ana looked at me.

"Well- I don't know maybe he's just smart but tries to act like he isn't" I said. Oh my gosh am I defending him? This can't be.

We both just shrugged our shoulders and walked into class, and of course our teacher had new assigned seats for us. I looked at Ana with a sad face, knowing that we wouldnt be sat next to each other. I looked up to the board to see where I was going to be sitting at for the next month. My jaw dropped when I saw who I was sitting next to. I was sitting next to Matthew Price.
