~Liza Smith~
"No more than 5 days, I have an exam on the 28th." I said as I licked the ice cream off the spoon.
I sat on my bed, my laptop on my lap and a big tub of ice cream in my hand as I talked to Ana, Susanna, and Gisselle through facetime. We were planning a trip, or more like they were planning my trip to LA. Unfortunately, being the only one left in San Jose results in being the one having to travel alone.
"Why are you already having exams?" Gisselle questioned.
I furrowed my eyebrows, "How are you not having exams yet?"
Ana shrugged, "Dunno, maybe it's just because our professors fucking suck and don't know what they're doing- speaking of professors, this stupid idiot marked my project as a 36/100! Can you believe that? I worked so ha-"
"Girl shut up. You aren't the only one with a sucky professor, mine literally assigns a million things everyday." Susanna interrupted Ana.
Gisselle looked at them with a weird look, "My professor has canceled class like 10 times already because she was 'Too tired'. "
Ana and Susanna both turned over to Gisselle with their jaw dropped, and then turned their heads to the screen to look at me, "Can you believe that?!" Susanna said. "Liza, please tell me you're professor actually knows what she's doing."
I chuckled, "I'm 100% sure she's doing everything right. Although I think Nora would react differently." I smiled at the thought of Nora and when she was shocked that I told her that the beloved Ms. Hamsworth was actually very sweet to me. I think Nora holds a grudge on me for that.
"Who's Nora?" Gisselle asked.
"Coffee shop lady. She used to have Ms. Hamsworth, and she said she was a stupid two-faced lying whore who slept with all the male professors," I lowered my voice to a whisper, "and even the woman."
The girls all made a shocked expression at me, "And I'm guessing she's the nicest person you've ever met, huh?" Ana asked.
"Yup."
You know, this isn't as bad as I expected. Me and the girls have been face timing almost everyday, and it feels like when we were all together. I also sometimes talk to the guys. It still amazes me how none of them have been kicked out of the house by the girls. According to Gisselle, Adrian got black out drunk and threw up in the living room. If that were me, I would've packed up all his things and told him to say goodbye to the house.
Me and Matt facetime, text, or call everyday, no exceptions. If I'm busy? He waits until I'm not. I'm in class? He waits until im back in my dorm. I'm at the cafe with Nora? He doesn't care he still calls me.
"Okay, let's get back on track. You can come over onnnn," Gisselle paused and- im assuming- looked at the calendar on her phone.
"How about the 22nd?" Susanna asked.
"Hmm, isn't thanksgiving a day after that? The 23rd?" I asked back.
"Yeah, but that'd be perfect because then we can get thanksgiving over with and have a little dinner here and then we can spend the rest of the days just hanging out...oo and maybe we can go to Disneyland." Ana smirked.
