~Liza Smith~
I could see panic rising in Matthew's face as he kept rereading the message and looking at the photo.
"Matthew, we have to go outside." I said, trying to calm myself.
He didn't answer me, but stood up and walked towards the front door. I followed behind him but he quickly stopped me.
"No, Liza, stay here. I'll handle this." He whispered.
Everyone was still asleep. I'm surprised no one had woken up despite all the noise me and Matthew are making. I looked at him, seeing the glow in his eyes. I furrowed my eyebrows, confused.
"Matthew, I'm going with you whether you like it or not." I replied, my voice filling with anger.
"No, you are not. I'm not risking you getting hurt again." He said, grabbing onto my shoulders.
"Matt, please," I whined.
"Let me go out there with you."
He shook his head, the moolight from outside shined in through the window, enhancing his features. "No." He said.
I was starting to get more impatient with him, "Move," I said pushing my way through him.
I walked right to the door and unlocked it, Matt's hand landing on mine stopping me from opening no door.
"No, Liza!" He silently yelled.
I pushed his hand off mine and opened the door. No one was there. Me and Matt both stood there, looking at nothing.
"Where is she?" I asked.
"I don't know, go inside lock the door. " he moved past me, walking outside and looking around.
I wasn't gonna lock myself inside. I'm gonna find Taylor and give her a piece of my mind. I walked outside too, closing the door behind me. Matt looked back at me, shaking his head.
"Cant follow rules, pretty?" He joked.
I rolled my eyes and looked around. This wasn't the time to joke around. There wasn't anyone here, nor were there any footprints. I walked up to Matthew,
"Give me your phone." I demanded.
He didn't hesitate, handing his phone over to me. He looked at me with a questionable look as I opened his phone up. His eyes widened as he saw me open the messages app.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
I ignored him and opened up the texts between him and Taylor. My heart dropped as I saw the picture of her outside the house, but I ignored it and started typing.
Me: come out
Me: stop hiding and come out
Me: If you want to do something do it now
Anger pulsed through my veins as I typed that. No response. I typed again.
