I was awakened from my deep sleep by the sound of my phone ringing. After a moment of hesitation, I reached for it and placed it to my ear. I was exhausted when I answered "Hello?" I'm not a morning person, especially during my day offs.
"Talia, a cah bed yuh still ina them hours yah, a soon 12 eno."Jada's voice on the phone took me a while to recognize due to my sleepiness. Sitting up in bed, I breathe deeply. I won't be able to go back to sleep, so whatever the reason she's called, better be important and worth disturbing my sleep.
"Jada, wah?" I said aggressively, now I'm getting annoyed she even woke me up in the first place.
"A me yah talk to suh gyal?"
"Jada. Mi nuh ina the foolishness girl, don't tell me yuh call and wake me fi nothing." I swear if that is the case, I would be telling her my mind.
"Mi call baring good news." She giggled with excitement like a school girl and I tried to rub the tiredness from my eyes.
"Which is...?" I'm was getting impatient with her, and she hisses her teeth at my attitude towards her. She's acting as if I'm wrong. I'm sure nobody likes being awoken from their sleep.
"A swear to god mi cah stand yuh sometime but anyway. Remember mi seh mi did a guh ask the man bout the place, if its still available? Mi end up call him last night, him seh the place is still there and yuh can guh check it out whenever yuh want." When I hear this, I was immediately fully awake.

"Hello?" She says because I went silent.
"Ye mi a hear yuh girl, a shock wull me a while ago."
"Mi tell yuh him nuh wait when it come to business, yuh think a joke mi did a mek?"I'm not saying I didn't believe, but I never anticipated a immediate answer. Perhaps it's because no one wants it?

"Suh when him seh me can come check out the place?" I eagerly asked.
