"Bumboclaaat!" I lay there for a few seconds in shock before I tried to get up but felt arms being wrapped around my waist, pulling me to stand up. It was Nico, and he looked concerned but upset.
He took the helmet off my head and I try to not make a big deal out of what happened. "Yuh good?" He asked, and I nodded feeling embarrassed due to those who witnessed me falling off the bike.
"Jaj jah look pan yuh fucking hand them too." He cursed as he noticed the scrapes on my arm and tried to brush the dirt from my body.
"Yuh alright?" The lady rushed over to us and said. She is overweight and appears to be in her late 30s. Although she sounds very sorry, I couldn't find the strength to even look at her.
"Yuh alright miss?" She asked and I nodded my head still not glancing over at her.
"Mi nuh understand why she even a rid so fast in the first place." She then said to Nico and I rolled my eyes.
"Mi nuh understand why the fuck yuh deh pan the wrong side. The next track lead go up, this lead go down, weh yah do over yah so?" He asked and she looked at him lost for words.
"Mi mussy never a pay attention." She tries to defend herself.
"The worst part you a try play blame game and a you ina the wrong." Nico argued with her. I was unaware that she was the one who was wrong, just assumed it was an accident. However, the fact that this entire embarrassment on me could have been avoided really got to me.
"Well sorry, a my fault but yuh girlfriend seem alright tho so yuh nuh afi get too upset." She tries to say.
"Lady...just gwan weh yah go." Nico hissed his teeth, shaking his head and turned toward me.
"A wah gwan?" A man came who seemed to work here.
"Weh Pablo?" Nico asked him.
"Him up deh suh a do something, every thing kool?" The man asked but Nico kinda brushed him off.
"Bring it up back." Nico told him and the man moved to collect the bike I was on.
"Come T." I moved with him over to his bike. We both got on and he made me put the helmet back on.
"Hold on to me." We rode off leaving the few people behind. I believed we would be leaving, but he took a different path that ultimately led to a gathering area where people could relax and eat. We got off after he parked and found a place to sit.
