"So you nuh deh pon the menu?" The man asks me, making a sexual gesture by flicking his tongue out and sending lustful gaze me. I tried not to react to his disgusting flirting attempts and avoided reacting to him by biting my tongue and putting on an awkward expression.
"Can guarantee you will like our dynamite shrimp or boneless bites. Its our best selling dishes." I gave him options to choose from, wanting him to leave his table quickly. He was skinny, tatted, and is skin bleaching, which I find very unattractive. His features are attractive, but his appearance bothers me.

"You can please just order something, I have other customers waiting." I say not trying to hide my irritation.
"Me wah yuh pick fi me, you look like you have good taste." As I almost roll my eyes, I write down something on my notepad before turning to walk away.
"Yuh have a man? Cah mi wah get fi know you, mi love off dah body yah mumma mi nah lie." He pulled me back to say but still I ignore him and walked off to place his order.
After placing his order with the chef, I went back to the main floor but was halted by Kim, one of my workers, who pulled me aside and appeared to have something to say.
"Yuh nah hear nth since yuh come back?" I frown at her confused by what she meant.
"Noo, why?" I asked.
"Nuh know if Jada nuh hear fi tell yuh but girl, you was the talk about when yuh never deh here. Them slander yu name yuh fuck." It wasn't surprising to me, considering that they enjoy discussing each other's personal business, but they shouldn't have much to say when they don't have the full story.
Also, I have been feeling a strange vibe from them all week since I got back. My assumption is that it was due to what transpired, but I didn't think it was them being negativity towards me.
"A Shelly a walk and a chat off her mouth, a call up yuh name to people. Yuh fi diss her bloodclat cause any how a did me mi fist in ina her mouth, them cah try them shit deh wid me." I'm uncertain if Kim was genuinely upset for me or if it's because Shelly and Kim don't get along well.

And girll, yuh waah hear big pussy chef him a back her wid the fuckry weh she a keep up." She spoke in a mocking tone, hissing her teeth when she finished.
