"This was the worst idea ever!" Emma said, while kicking away some debris on the ground. "If we would've just stayed at your house non of this would have happened!" She seems to blame us, "But if we 'did' stay, we would have starved to death." I reply.
Jen and Jay are sitting against a wall in the house of Laura. "We just lost 3 friend. We're never going to survive this. Soon we'll die too..." Laura looks at the ground. Her brother's corpse lay on the ground outside the house. He was on his way home when he got ripped appart by the zombies... She does her best not to cry, but in these times it seems impossible not to burst into tears.
Our clothes are covered in the blood of Ryan. We are almost indistinguishable from the infected zombies outside, which can be usefull. We smell like them too.. Disgusting.
Jen looks out of the window to see if there's any sign of the zombies, but no. "Emma..?" She says. Emma turns around towards her. "Hmm?" "Do you still want to live?" Laura and I look questioning at her. "W-What?" Emma replies. "Because I don't..." and Jen slowly cuts her throat with her knife. "Jen!" I yell, but it's too late. There's nothing we can do than see her choke to death. After a few second her body falls off the chair she was sitting on, followed by her bright red blood.
"It's a fast way to die.." Emma says it calm, and looks at her knife. "Emma don't!" Laura kicks the knife out of her hands. "No..." Jay stands up. "Aiden sacrificed his life for us, we can not let that be for nothing." "Jay's right." I quickly say.
Jays' clothes are clean. I didn't see him while Ryan and Sarah died... "Jay, where were you anyway when Ryan killed Sarah?"
A long silence.
Where were you? Why didn't we see you go? How did you get it done to be alone and not get killed?
Jay, where were you? Why aren't you answering? What are you hiding?
"I-I..." He runs away, through the front door. We run after him but when we get out,
he's gone.
"Jay!" We yell his name, but in vain.
Jay just disappeared. We want to go and look for him, but that would be our death. I just don't get it. Where was he? Why did he run away?
I liked Jay, he was such a good friend. Now he's dead, and if he isn't yet, he will be soon. No one can survive out there, especially not alone...
Jen commited suicide and Jay dissapeared. We're now with 3 left.
