Thirty Three

"Oh darling, you're glowing!!" Grace said entering the foyer of Sweetzer and wrapping her arms around her daughter. "Thanks Mum.. Happy Thanksgiving" she gushed before welcoming her in and greeting her father. "Thank you so much for coming all the way over." Holly said taking their jackets. "Nonsense... our grandchildren are half American, we want to celebrate and mark tradition." Michael said with a smirk. "You're here!" Johnny said jovially leaving his office. "That we are.. hi son, how the hell are ya?" Michael said shaking Johnny's hand and wrapping an arm around him. "So where are the little darlings?" Grace said excited. "Well Lottie is at school, Pippa is at kindergarten, Lily is at a fashion thing downtown, and Jack is at Vanessa's for the day, but they'll all be home soon." Holly said showing her parents into the sitting room.

Holly had left Johnny with her parents at home and gone to do the school run, the little pickles had no idea their grandparents were coming for a visit and the mother was very excited for it. Johnny, Grace and Michael were sat with a cup of coffee each in the living room when they heard the two boisterous girls head into the hallway. "Bye bye Theo!" Lottie yelled. Since marrying, Travis and Tara had opted to live together in the annexe of Sweetzer and see how American life would suit the little boy and so far, he loved going to the kindergarten in the class above Pippa's. "Right, remember Mummy said as long as you were good girls, Daddy had a surprise for you?" "Yeahh!!" The girls cheered and Johnny could hear the familiar kicking off of school shoes and coats. "Well..." "is it Disney land??? Albie at school says we can't go to Disney because Daddy is a pirate. I mean what does that even mean!?" Lottie asked. "Is it ice cream??" Pippa cheered making Holly smirk, "No it's better than Disneyland and ice cream... and ignore what Albie says, remember only Mummy knows Captain Jack, if everyone knew him, we would know where he was wouldn't we?!!" Holly said before ushering them towards the living room.

"Granny!!!!!! Grandpa!!!!!" Lottie and Pippa squealed running into their grandparents laps. This made Holly's heart swell as Johnny slowly got up and approached his wife. "There's my favourite pirate." She whispered making him smirk. "Well you are my greatest treasure." He smiled before kissing her.

Later they had been joined by Lily-Rose and Jack and were sitting down to a large family dinner. "It was such lovely news about Tara and Travis, I saw Jill the other day and they were delighted she's finally settled, mind you she was quite miffed the family weren't there but I think they understood." Grace said tucking into her meal. "Well Mum that's what Tara and Trav wanted. It was romantic." Holly said sipping some water and reminiscing of the month prior. "What a week it was." Johnny smirked before Lottie began telling Lily about some gossip from school, making the eldest Depp child giggle. "Grandpa.." Pippa said loudly. "Yes darling?" Michael turned to the three almost four year old. "I get baby soon, from mummy." Michael nodded and smiled. "That's right. Do you want a little brother or sister?" He asked kindly and Jack immediately sat up "A brother remember Pippa?! We are sending big vibes ok??" He chuckled making Michael smirk. " I remember when Adam and Ben found out Holly was a girl. They were fuming! They announced they wouldn't speak to me forever until I took them to the hospital and bought them a chocolate bar in the shop and flowers for Grace. We then went up to the maternity ward and once they clapped eyes on her, they were smitten." Holly smiled "I didn't know that.." she said sipping water. "Oh yes... and Jack I'm sure you remember meeting your little sisters for the first time? They took your breath away if I remember rightly?" "Yes Pops." He said smirking. "Anyway, what time are all the Depp's getting here? I'm so excited to catch up with Christi." Grace said with a smile. "Tomorrow lunchtime Mum, then everyone will be here Thursday for the main event." Holly said smiling. "Daddy we get turkey now???" Lottie asked. "No darling later this week." Johnny replied patiently. "Does Stanley get turkey?!" She asked. "Ummm no he doesn't darling, because he's at his home in England. You get turkey because you're half American remember? Remember mummy showed you on the map. Daddy is from America, and Mummy is English so that means you, Lily, Jack and Pippa all share in two lots of traditions." Johnny explained. "But Sissy and Jacky are Nessa's..." Lottie said confused biting some food from her fork. "That's right darling. Vanessa is Lily and Jack's mummy isn't she? I'm yours and Pippa's Mumma." Holly said leaning over and ruffling her curls. "And baby's!!!" Pippa said making herself known once more. "I'm glad Stanley doesn't get turkey." "Why?!" Jack smirked to his six year old sister. "Because he has cooties and they are icky!!! Right Daddy??!"Lottie announced proudly looking at her father who's eyes went wide. Holly placed her forehead in her hand before smirking and Grace couldn't help the giggle that escaped, "that's right sweetness... all boys except Daddy, Jacky and Grandpa have cooties!!" Michael smirked into his wine glass. "Dad!!!" Holly scolded. "What?!! You grew up way too fast, I'm on Johnny's side when it comes to my granddaughters."
