Forty Nine

"Oh my god...he's adorable." Lily squealed. "I wish you were here darling... your father would love to have his whole tribe there." Holly said to her step daughter on FaceTime. "I know. He will ace it. He always does!" Lily said fondly from her trailer, she was working on a new independent movie in the Middle East. "Ahh here come the littles." Holly said from the end of her bed. In walked Lottie and Pippa who had similar looks to their baby brother mirroring their father, all slightly different but matched with the red shirt tied round their waists. Lottie squealed "Hey Ted has the wrong top on.." "Teddy is wearing this one until the last minute. I can't have him throwing up on Daddy's bands tee can I?" Lily smiled before saying hi to her sisters before having to rush off to do a scene.

Holly, managed to gather the three children all in one place and pack up everything she needed to head to the gig. Johnny had gone on ahead and was currently doing a sound check at the venue, leaving the mother with just her security and now close friend Travis. "Hols we are going for one evening.." "I know!!" The woman said flustered before adding another muslin to the changing bag that was almost overflowing. "Ok ok.. I'll get the girls into the car.." Travis scooped Pip up onto his hip and headed out onto the driveway to the waiting car with Lottie holding his hand.

Eventually, Holly managed to get her just turned 6 month old baby into the car seat and carried it out to the drive. She had donned a band tee, skinny jeans, heeled boots, and had borrowed one of Johnny's red shirts and tied it round her waist to tie in with the children. "Ready?" Travis said standing up after strapping Lottie and Pippa in. "Yes.. I think." She giggled before jumping into the front of the SUV. "Let's do this.. let's go see Daddy perform!" Holly said excitedly turning to look at the children in the back of the car as Travis began to drive.

After arriving at the venue, Holly had been rather stern with the girls about behaving, and telling them to stay close by, she wasn't as mobile as she once was now she had Teddy to take care of. Travis although was her security, she knew he would want to enjoy the gig with his wife and step son. There was also the fact he wasn't hired help for the children. The girls agreed to stay close as they climbed out the car and wandered through the stage door.

"Daddy!!!!!" They squealed as they found the green room where Johnny and the band were located. Johnny's face lit up. "Hey angels!!!" Johnny said immediately dropping to his knees off the chair and hugging them both tight. "What did I JUST SAY?" Holly said entering the room flustered and throwing her hair back off her face. Alice smirked "Well don't you guys look like the ultimate groupies." He stood to greet his good friend's wife. "Hey Al. We like to make an effort.." she said kissing his cheek before encouraging a smile from baby Teddy. Johnny was still fussing over his daughters, he was touched Holly had gone to this much effort. His wife replied to his band mate "Umm darling he's at the wrong gig." Tommy smirked spotting Teddy's attire. "Well as he enjoys dribbling and being sick so much, he's not having his Vampires top on until the last minute." Holly giggled before hugging Tommy. "How are you? It's been ages." "Way too long Holly but if he keeps you bare foot and pregnant what are we to do?" Holly blushed before finally getting around to greeting Johnny. "Hey beautiful." He said with a smile kissing her passionately. "Hey yourself." She said admiring him. He was aways handsome to her but he had an extra sexy edge when playing the rockstar and it did things to her. He quickly took Teddy from her arms and began showing him off to his band mates proudly.

A short while later, Lottie announced to the band "Uncle Alice.. Daddy says I can't marry a rockstar. Why??!" This made Holly's jaw drop before she sipped her drink staring at her husband amused. Alice rubbed his jaw before holding his arms out to Lottie "Come here petal... what did Daddy say??" "He said Rockstars are scary and I can't marry them." Lottie said rather put out climbing onto his lap. Alice, Joe and Tommy all stared at the father amused. "Well... I just know how they can be.. how I was when I was young... I don't want her setting her sights on that. Jesus we all remember what it was like being young right?" Holly smiled before saying "Lottie it doesn't matter what your husband's career is, as long as he loves you and treats you well." "Mama... I don't want to marry a rockstar.. I'm going to marry a pirate." Pippa said proudly. Holly bit her lip before she heard the band chuckling beside her. Johnny simply put his face in his hands making everyone laugh more, his two daughters not understanding why.

"Daddy is sooooo cool!!" Lottie said excitedly in the wings jumping up and down. Holly smiled she was a few steps away, more into the wings. She was rocking a sleepy Teddy in his pram. The little boy had the cutest ear defenders on and was almost asleep. Holly could see Johnny rocking out on the stage and was incredibly proud, especially when he took a moment every now and then to pause and look at them, giving his daughters a cheeky wink. She really felt like the luckiest woman alive.
