Holly and Lily were in the kitchen filling a tray with soft refreshing drinks for the children and waiting for the coffee machine to finish for the adults. "So, are you looking forward to Christmas Eve with your Mother and Samuel?" Holly asked her step daughter.

Hannah had been pacing the sitting room trying to call her parents but with no avail, as she walked back out into the grand hallway there was a knock on the front door. She began walking towards it and saw what looked like a group of men through the glass, assuming it must be the lads home from their afternoon she swung open the front door.

"Hello.. I'm so sorry to bother you. Our car has just broken down over there. Could we bother you for a phone? Ours have died." The man said. "Oh, umm, of course." Hannah opened the door and led the two gentleman into the foyer. "Thank god your English, we are on holiday here and didn't know a word of French." Hannah smiled "Me too. Well we aren't quite on holiday, this is my sister in law's house." She said sweetly before offering her cell phone. "Can I get you guys a hot drink or something? It's freezing out." The two gentleman nodded before Hannah said "Ok sure wait here." She soon disappeared into the kitchen leaving the two men to scout about. The second man headed back towards the front door locking it and pocketing the key. Whilst the first turned to his companion "Now for some fun." He said sadistically.

Moments later, the two gentleman, were stood leaning on the kitchen island being handed mugs of coffee by Holly. The latter albeit completely shocked Hannah had let strangers into the house, was first and foremost a wonderful human and host and therefore didn't initially show her discomfort. "Have you travelled far?" She asked. "Not too far. We are from London." The slightly shorter one said. "Sorry you must think we are terribly rude, "Let us introduce ourselves. I'm Frank, and this is Joe." Holly nodded and smiled. "Nice to meet you, this is Hannah, and I am Holly." She said before looking at the cell phone on the work top. "Did they say how long your recovery would be? If easier, I could always arrange a car to take you to your hotel and we can worry about your vehicle later?" Frank shook his head. "Sadly not, I guess with the holiday it could be a while, still your kind hospitality is very welcome." Holly's eyes widened, "yes well let's hope it's not too much longer." Hannah said growing a little concerned at the prospect of having two strange men in the house for the foreseeable future.

A few minutes of awkward small talk had passed when Lily-Rose returned into the kitchen, "Are we ready to..." she stopped in her tracks seeing the strange men. "To?" The one known as Joe said pulling a gun out his pocket, and Frank did the same. Lily almost squealed in shock and moved a little closer to her step mother. Holly was in complete and utter shock but swallowed quickly desperately trying to think of a plan. "To.. have that coffee. Right Lily?" She said looking at the teen who begged her with her wide eyes to not let on that there were other people in the house including the children. "Right. Well, you may need something a little stronger. What say we all go have a little chat?" Frank said lunging for Holly, who was moved to the sitting room forcefully alongside Hannah and Lily at gunpoint.

"So... what we are trying to say. Is what we says goes and when the boss man gets here. You'll be his, and we will take whatever is left." Holly had a face like thunder. "Why?? This is so wrong!!! What have we done wrong?" Lily exclaimed. "Let's just say this one owes our boss." Joe said pointing his gun towards Holly who now had a very concerned look on her face.

After a while of being taunted and intimidated by the two violent men. Holly, Hannah and Lily were sat close to one another on the sofa. Holly was holding her step daughter's hand incredibly tight and stroking the back of it with her thumb. She was trying to be reassuring but she didn't know how this would ever play out. The woman could feel the teen shaking beside her and Hannah wasn't holding up too well either. "Why can't you just leave us alone??" Lily cried out scared. "Why?? Because I'm being paid an awful lot of money to do this and I don't actually care what happens." Frank said sitting in the plush armchair not far from the women. Joe had taken a phone call from the "boss man" and was in the hallway, no doubt blocking the only viable exit. Holly looked up to the ceiling and prayed that Tara kept the children occupied. They must have been gone for nearly an hour now? Surely she would get suspicious at some point?

Tara was sat in the lazy boy reclined, she had just sat back down after grabbing Teddy out the bouncer chair, he had woken up and had rosy cheeks, a sure sign the 8 month old was more than likely teething once again. The mother of one was doing all she could to soothe her friend's child but he wasn't taking well to not being in Mummy's arms. Luckily, the other children were now sat in front of Home Alone, and she had barely heard a peep from them since Holly had begun the movie. Looking at her phone she noticed it was getting on for time. Nearing 4pm, and that her blasted battery was only on 20%.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Hannah had stood and lunged herself at Frank who immediately managed to manoeuvre her back to the sofa with some force, due to the fact he was almost double her size. He lent on her with a lot of pressure, and grinded against her, almost enjoying her displeasure at him before Joe walked back into the sitting room. "The boss man is on his way Frank... you know he only wants one thing. That means the others are ours."
