Fifty Four

The next day, Holly was making coffee in the kitchen. "Thank you so much again for having the girls." She gushed. "Never thank us. We loved it. They ended up in bed with me and Stephen moved to the guest room at about 4am." Gina smirked and Holly covered her giggle with her hand. "Oh bless him. I am so sorry." "Don't be. He loves his little Princesses and would do anything for them." "That's the problem." Holly giggled before carrying the tray into the sitting room where Johnny was holding a sleeping Teddy, and had his two youngest daughters sat either side of him. "Stephen, I heard these two kicked you out your own bed." "Mummy we were having a sleepover with Auntie G. We had to!!" Johnny shook his head smirking before kissing Lottie's head. "Well I hope you said thank you to Uncle Steve... he's getting old now, he needs a good bed." "Less of the old mate. You're older than me." Stephen smirked taking a coffee. Travis rushed in looking flustered making the adults stop and raise their eyebrows. "Hols, have you got your laptop handy. Remember that update I said I would do?! I might as well do it now." Holly's face showed her confusion but she decided to just let it go. "Yeah it's in the office. Mine is the one NOT covered in band stickers." She looked at her husband with a smile. Travis nodded and rushed off. "He's weird." Lottie spoke up. "Charlotte Rose!!!" Holly scolded. "That's not very nice." "Well he is acting strange, he never rushes anywhere like Daddy." Lottie responded making the adults smirk before Holly offered pastries around.

Later that day, Lily-Rose rushed through the front door "I'm home!!!" she yelled placing her handbag and coat down in the foyer. Johnny emerged from his office "Hey darling. How are you?" He said wrapping his eldest in a big hug. "I'm tired, but can't wait for the holiday. Where are the littles? It has been so long. Has Teddy grown?" Johnny smirked rolling his eyes. "That's what a movie does to you but you're home now. The littles are with Holly, upstairs and Teddy is napping. He is growing every day, if you promise to keep the noise down, you are welcome to check in on him." Lily nodded as Lenny bought her bags into the house. "Oh by the way, Daddy there is a man outside. Says he knows you." "A lot of people say they know me sweetheart." Johnny wandered to the frosted window by the front door and peered out. "I can't see anyone darling, did you see them Lenny?" The bodyguard nodded. "I assumed he was a visitor for you?" They both opened the front door and looked around, but nobody was there. Johnny shrugged closing the door. "Remind Sean I wanna get down to the log store, its turning cold, and I want a big fire tonight." Johnny said to Lenny before heading back into his own office. 

Lily rushed upstairs and heard her little sisters and step mother chatting, it was coming from the master bedroom so she went in there first. After the initial excitement from the two little girls had calmed down, Holly managed to give her eldest step child a huge hug. "LilyPop, we weren't expecting you until tomorrow, we had big plans" she gushed before pulling Lily into another hug. "I missed you too much, and besides I just wanted to be home. Hotels aren't all that fun after 14 weeks!" "Well, we missed you, didn't we Pip? Lottie?" "WE DID!!"Lottie announced loudly.  Lily smiled before noticing the mess "What is going on in here anyway?" "We are wrapping Daddy's christmas presents, so that Mama can send them to Santa for him!!" Pippa said proudly. "Oh wow, what did you get him??" Lily asked excitedly sitting on the edge of the bed pulling her youngest sister onto her lap. "Well...." Lottie said jumping up beside her sisters. 

Meanwhile downstairs Johnny was in his office and his cell phone rang, so he placed the paintbrush between his fingers and clumsily answered the call.
"Isaac my man"
"Hey John."
"What can I do for you?"
"Well I didn't want to bother you on a holiday."
"Then why did you call?" Johnny chuckled lighting up a cigarette.
"Well there have been some strange goings on at Sweetzer. It was nothing at first,  but last night, we caught somebody on the cameras trying to break in."
"Jesus. What did the security do?"
"Well we don't have anyone here do we, what with the cut backs, I thought you knew?"
"Fuck yeah I did know. It was my suggestion. Thanks for bringing this to my attention bud. I will speak with Sean. Anyway, how's your christmas holiday going?"
"Its ok, same old."
"You're not lonely are you old man?"
"Ha. Nah you know, I always find something to do."
"Well if Hols gets a sniff you are alone, she will be summoning you here so watch what you say." Johnny chuckled before they said their goodbyes.  

He slowly stood, stubbed out his cigarette and made his way to the kitchen where he had last seen Sean, Travis and Malcolm hanging out. "Guys... Isaac has been on the phone.." he walked in casually before spotting disturbing photographs and notes about his family's whereabouts with the three men huddled over the pile. "Who the hell is gonna tell me what the fuck is going on??" He said firmly before pushing the door closed.
