Holly woke up to her phone going off. The noise startled her, but not as much as seeing the bed empty beside her did. Her eyes widened. Where was her husband?? She sat up pushing the hair out her face and checked her phone, she was in and dated with messages and notifications. Something about a headline. They didn't scare her anymore, she had been in her own fair share and clicked on the link absentmindedly that had been sent to her.

The article made her jaw drop. It was a full on exclusive about how Johnny not only spent a lot of the evening in a bar with a mystery blonde sat beside him flirting all evening, but also how towards the end of the evening he was reunited with his ex fling Polina, a beautiful dancer who he had dated prior to knowing Holly. Her phone rang again and it was Lily she answered it and she could tell the young lady was flustered.
"He's really done it this time. I mean who does he think he is.. Sacre Bleu... if he's cheated on you, I'll never ever speak to him again!! Mark my words."
"Lil. It has got to be a big misunderstanding." Holly said attempting to comfort her stepdaughter, she never wanted to come between the children and Johnny but was touched that Lily immediately had come to her defence. "I'm on my way to London. If you don't confront him, I will." Holly's eyes widened before the call hung off. She slowly stood grabbing her robe from the end of the bed, first she had to locate said husband, before she could confront him and baring in mind he wasn't in their marital bed and after the headlines she assumed they must be correct.

After freshening up, and donning loungewear she slowly entered the youngest Depp girl's bedrooms and awoke them, it was a wonder they had slept in but her mind was too dazed to think any more of it. Had Johnny cheated on her? Was their marriage breaking down? Was this why he had spent so much time out and away from their home recently? She carried Pippa on her hip down the stairs and listened the the sweet chatter of her eldest before stopping in her tracks. Face down on the couch was a snoring Johnny, he still had the same clothes on that he had been photographed in, but looked a lot more worse for wear. Before Holly could stop her, Lottie ran over and jumped on her father's back waking him. He groaned loudly before rolling over shielding his eyes from the daylight pouring in the window. "Daddy!!!" Lottie cheered and Pippa fought to be set free. The wicked devil on Holly's shoulder allowed it, deciding that with his hangover he could deal with his children, especially if he was causing their family to break up. Pippa soon joined the chaos leading to Johnny groaning and sitting up further and gently guiding the girls to sit beside him. Holly walked straight past him and into the kitchen. "Just give Daddy a minute ok?" Johnny said quietly holding his head before he slowly stood and followed his wife into the kitchen. "Hello." He said confused at her lack of affection. "Oh hello." She turned on the spot and spat in response. "Have I upset you?" He asked making her eyebrows shoot into her hairline. "Upset me??! What on earth gave you that idea??!" She asked completely dumbfounded as to how he could be so stupid. "I umm, I don't feel too great." "No I suppose you don't. Still never mind. I haven't felt great for the last week but life goes on. The children don't disappear when you want them to." She said beginning the girl's breakfasts. It was then she noticed how glazed his eyes looked and how unsteady he was on his feet. "Are you still drunk??!" She asked angrily. "Maybe." He smiled confirming he was tipsy. "What time is it? I didn't get home until 5." He said proudly in a way she knew he wouldn't if he was sober. "Go fucking sober up. Sleep it off!!" She raised her voice at the last bit before he headed towards the couch. "No, I said go sober up!!! And whilst you're at it, stay away from my children whilst you're drunk!!" She said with her hands on her hips. Johnny had already began heading towards the stairs when he heard her last sentence. He span around. "YOUR children??" "Yes they are MY children when you choose some leggy blonde, some sublime Russian..." she said angrily using his words against him from years gone by "and god knows how many bottles!!" Johnny's eyes widened, he was extremely confused and rather drunk so decided to go sleep it off and deal with his hormonal wife later on when he had a clear head so he quickly climbed the stairs and headed into the master bedroom slamming the door shut.

"Is Daddy ok?" Lottie asked as she munched on some toast at the breakfast bar. "He's just feeling a little poorly that's all." Holly replied pouring another cup of coffee for herself before adding some fruit to Pippa's plate. "If he's feeling sick he will need cuddles. That's what he does for us..." Lottie attempted to jump down off the bar stall. "No!" Holly said firmly, "I don't want either of you going upstairs do you hear me?" Lottie's eyes widened at her mother's change in tone but nodded. "Pippa, do you understand, you do not go upstairs ok?" Holly added and the three year old nodded too before shoving a piece of strawberry into her mouth.

After settling the girls down in front of a cartoon, Holly found the time to check her phone and what a mistake it was. Her social media accounts were flooded with notifications, members of the public tagging her repeatedly in the article and photos she didn't want to see, not to mention the amount of hate mail she received. People from all over the world claiming she deserved it. In the end, she turned her phone off leaving it on the arm of the sofa before cosying up with her two worlds, her little girls.
