The arrival at Hogwarts was accompanied by the customary Sorting ceremony. Ophelia, Sebastian, Anne and Ominis watched with anticipation as Ophelia's brother was sorted into his respective house.

As Damien joined the Slytherin table, Ophelia couldn't help but feel a swell of pride. Once the ceremony concluded, Damien hesitated for a moment before finding his way to his sister and her friends.

"Hey, can I sit here with you, Ophelia? My friend found a spot with his cousin, and I don't know anyone else."

Sebastian, with a warm smile, made room for Damien to join them, pulling Ophelia closer to his side. The Slytherin table became a lively gathering as introductions were made.

As the feast continued, Ophelia and Sebastian shared subtle touches—knees brushing, shoulders leaning against each other. The unspoken connection between them added a layer of magic to the already enchanting atmosphere of the Great Hall.

Towards the end of the feast, when most students had finished eating, Ophelia found herself engaged in a conversation with her best friend Violet, who was seated across from her.

"Oh, Ophelia, you won't believe how amazing my summer was! Ayden finally asked me to court him. We spent every day together at his parents, and I can't imagine my life without him. I'm so happy we're courting now."

However, as Violet continued to gush about her summer romance, Ophelia's attention began to drift. Sebastian's hand had found its way to her thigh, a gentle touch that spoke volumes.

"Is this okay?"

Ophelia, blushing but unable to hide her smile, nodded in approval. She returned to Violet's enthusiastic narrative, though her thoughts were now dancing with the silent connection she shared with Sebastian.

The Great Hall buzzed with excitement, and the first night at Hogwarts unfolded.
