During the following two weeks, Ophelia and Sebastian immersed themselves in the routine of Hogwarts life. They diligently focused on their schoolwork, attending classes and dedicating time to their studies. Ophelia, along with Poppy and Natty, enjoyed a casual outing to Hogsmeade, savoring butterbeers and engaging in lively conversations about their summers and to catch up in general. Meanwhile, Sebastian found solace in the familiar camaraderie of the undercroft, spending the evenings with Ominis and Anne like in the old days. Most of the times Sebastian and Ophelia sat in the library reading books next to each other, just enjoying their company.
In their classes, they delved into advanced magical theories and refined their skills. Conversations buzzed with discussions of intricate spells, potions, and magical creatures, as they navigated the challenges of their sixth year at Hogwarts.
Despite the academic focus, the duo managed to steal a few stolen moments for themselves. Sebastian, ever the charming rogue, would surprise Ophelia with stolen kisses in empty corridors between classes or in secluded corners where no one's watchful eyes lingered. These stolen kisses became a delightful secret, shared between them, adding a touch of sweetness to the bustling halls of Hogwarts.
Their lives continued to intertwine, each day a blend of magical studies, shared laughter with friends, and the blossoming connection between Ophelia and Sebastian. The rhythm of their days echoed with the promise of something more, a quiet anticipation building as they navigated the challenges of Hogwarts together.
As the aroma of breakfast filled the Great Hall, Sebastian sat down at the Slytherin table, next to Ophelia, donned in his Quidditch attire, excitement coursing through his veins. The Quidditch tryouts were today, and he was determined to secure a spot as one of the chasers for the Slytherin team.
"Ready for some Quidditch magic today?"
"Good morning to you too, Sebastian. I'm as ready as I can be. The question is, are you?"
"I'm more than ready. You'll get to see me gracefully dodge bludgers and score goals, love."
„Graceful? I'll believe it when I see it. But I'll always be there, cheering for you, of course." She batted her eyelashes mockingly at him.
"You better. Imagine all the points I'll score in front of you."
"Don't get too confident; I might find the Seeker more entertaining." She rolled her eyes amused, trying to hit a spot.
"Impossible. You won't be able to take your eyes off me."
"We'll see about that." She smiles at him deeply within her, knowing he's a thousand times right.
Their banter continued, adding a playful energy to the morning atmosphere, as the tables nearby couldn't help but overhear the dynamic exchange between the two Slytherins.
Imelda, the Quidditch team captain, was scouting for potential players, and Sebastian couldn't help but feel a mix of nerves and eagerness.
With a cheeky grin, he leaned in towards Ophelia. "Are you going to watch me at the tryouts?" he asked, a playful glint in his eyes.
Ophelia, smirking, replied, "Well, I did agree to go with Ominis and Anne to cheer you on. Don't get too excited; I might find better things to do."
Sebastian feigned offense, a teasing smile on his face. "Better things than watching me soar through the air? Absurd."
Ophelia, rolling her eyes, retorted, "I can surely stay away from you if you want that. Now, shut up and eat your scran, you fucking eejit."
Sebastian chuckled at her playful rage and leaned in closer with a teasing smile. "Oh, I can assure you, I plan to eat every bite of this breakfast. Can't risk losing energy for the impressive Quidditch moves you're about to witness."
Ophelia chuckled, shaking her head. "Your confidence knows no bounds, Seb. Just remember, it's a team effort, and I'll be cheering for everyone."
Sebastian chuckled, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Of course, darling. But I'm counting on you to cheer the loudest for me. It's essential for my Quidditch success, you know."
Ophelia raised an eyebrow, feigning skepticism. "Is it, now? Well, we wouldn't want to jeopardize your Quidditch career. I'll make sure to bring extra enthusiasm for your sake."
Sebastian grinned, appreciating the banter. "That's the spirit! With you in the stands, how could I not give a stellar performance?"
Their playful exchange continued, adding a lightness to the morning that transcended the upcoming Quidditch tryouts. The magical atmosphere of Hogwarts seemed to amplify the connection between Sebastian and Ophelia, turning even the simplest moments into cherished memories.
