In the bustling halls of Hogwarts, Sebastian became the talk of the castle. His exceptional Quidditch prowess, dueling skills, and undeniable good looks earned him a legion of female admirers. Some approached him boldly, attempting to engage in conversation, while others resorted to distant stares and coy smiles. The Slytherin common room buzzed with whispers about the mysterious and alluring Sebastian.
On the flip side, Ophelia, though not a player herself, found herself at the center of unwarranted attention. The envious glares of Sebastian's admirers were accompanied by attempts to alienate her from him. Girls, bold and malicious, approached Ophelia, trying to convince her to abandon Sebastian. False rumors circulated, painting her as a promiscuous girl using Sebastian as a plaything.
It was late afternoon when Sebastian, serving detention, was tasked with sorting and shelving books in the library. Boredom set in as he mechanically organized the volumes. Ms. Scribner, approached him with a peculiar request—delivering a huge pile of books to the restricted section. Sebastian, familiar with the labyrinthine library, agreed reluctantly.
Little did he know that Ophelia discreetly observed him from the shadows. Positioned in secret, she waited for the opportune moment when Sebastian would venture into the restricted section, intending to step in and assist him without Ms. Scribner's awareness.
Sebastian descended the stairs into the dimly lit restricted section, a stack of books in his arms. As he carefully placed them on the shelves, he couldn't shake the feeling that he wasn't alone. Ophelia, still under the disillusionment spell, trailed behind him.
Amid the silent aisles, Ophelia accidentally bumped into a pile of books, causing a minor commotion. Sebastian turned his attention to the disturbance, narrowing his eyes at the scattered books. He cautiously reached out and felt a pullover in thin air. A mischievous giggle confirmed the invisible presence.
"Why the need to scare me like that, darling?" Sebastian teased, a playful smile forming on his face.
Ophelia uncloaked herself, her amusement evident. "I wanted to surprise you," she admitted, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
Sebastian chuckled, appreciating the playful surprise. He grinned as he sorted through the books, glancing over his shoulder. "You know, for a moment there, I thought I had a secret admirer lurking in the shadows."
Ophelia chuckled, her eyes glinting mischievously. "Well, you have a non-secret admirer right here."
Sebastian raised an eyebrow, feigning surprise. "Oh really? Do tell." He walks over to her and puts his hands on her waist, smirking at her and enjoying the conversation.
Ophelia joined him, a playful glint in her eyes. "I mean, who wouldn't admire a Quidditch star with impeccable dueling skills and, dare I say, rather dashing looks?"
Sebastian chuckled, pretending to be modest. "Oh, stop it. You're making me blush."
Ophelia nudged him with a sly grin. "Is that so? I thought modesty isn't your thing. Maybe I should keep showering you with compliments."
"Now what brings you actually here, did you miss me already?"
Ophelia smirked. "I just thought you might need some help with these books, and I wanted to surprise you, like I said. Clearly, I succeeded."
Sebastian gave her a mock bow. "Consider me thoroughly surprised. And grateful, of course. This detention would've been dreadfully dull without your company."
Ophelia rolled her eyes. "Don't pretend you don't enjoy the excitement of the restricted section."
Sebastian winked. "Ah, the thrill of breaking the rules. It's almost as exhilarating as being with you."
"You cheeky bastard.", Ophelia laughed.
Sebastian smirked, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "But you know, this time I'm not sneaking around. Miss Scribner specifically asked me to bring these books here. I'm officially allowed in the restricted section."
Ophelia arched an eyebrow, pretending to be taken aback. "An official mission? Well, Mr. Sallow, it seems you're on the path to becoming a model student."
Sebastian leaned in, his voice laced with playful sarcasm. "Indeed, my dear. Who knows? Perhaps I'm in the midst of a remarkable transformation, turning over a new leaf and all that."
Ophelia laughed, nudging him playfully. "I highly doubt that, but I'll give you credit for trying."
Sebastian and Ophelia delved into the clandestine depths of the Hogwarts library, their whispers echoing amid towering shelves laden with ancient tomes. As they navigated through the hallowed aisles, discussions unfolded like hidden chapters, revealing facets of their personalities.
The library's hushed ambiance heightened the intimacy of their conversation. Ophelia, with her genuine curiosity, drew Sebastian into discussions about the enigmatic tales concealed within the library's ancient texts. Her animated expressions mirrored the sparks of fascination igniting within Sebastian.
Conversely, Sebastian's vast knowledge and passion for magic unveiled layers of depth that intrigued Ophelia.
In the midst of their dialogue, Sebastian couldn't resist a mischievous pause, a playful gleam in his eyes. "You know, Ophelia, the restricted section may house dark and forbidden knowledge, but it pales in comparison to the secrets you keep."
Ophelia raised an eyebrow, her amusement evident. "And what secrets do you think I'm hiding?"
Sebastian leaned closer, his voice a conspiratorial whisper. "That, my dear, is precisely what I intend to find out."
