There was no sound. Just the sight of the guard falling to the ground. Matt delivered a perfect head shot, striking the man in his right temple.
"Target down." He whispered.
"Target down." Phil said over the phone.

"Security systems down." Shannon confirmed.
"Phil, I'm hanging up. We'll meet you guys in the middle." Casey said.

Matt got up in a hurry. He threw a bag of explosives over his shoulder, Casey had the other, and they hurried down towards the building. Shannon and the others would be doing the same right about now.

They made it to the side of the white structure in minutes. As they pinned themselves up against the wall Matt realized the facility was round in shape. The Nest. It was in fact shaped like a bird's nest. Clever, he thought to himself. Walker had thought of it all.

Sam was glad to be out of the forest. She had been swatting bugs away from her face the whole hike down.
They worked as a perfect team. Casey stuck the clay to the wall, Sam ran the wire, and Matt stuck the C4 to the clay. Tyler followed along, watching them work.

About midway to the end, Matt stuck the receiver to the detonator onto the piece of clay. He pressed the button and it turned red, activating it.
When they got to the end they saw the other dead guard. Phil had done the same thing they had done when they made it down, pulled the body out of view of the front door.

His team should already be at the boiler room door waiting. Matt and the others had to loop around to the other side. They stayed low and passed the doors as they made it to the other side, immediately seeing the explosives and wiring stuck to the wall.

Casey saw her friends a good distance away waiting for them. They got a burst of energy as they ran for the door to meet them.
They fought to catch their breath as they made it there unseen.

"Well that was easy." Shaun said.
"That'll be the last time any of us say that today." Jenna remarked.
"Nice shooting." Phil said, holding his hand up. Matt grabbed it with a smile.

"So what now?" Sam asked.
Jenna took out her keys. "We go in."
Matt picked up Tyler. "We sure we're good? Nobody heard anything suspicious? We have to be sure they don't know we're here." He warned.

"I think we would have heard something by now." Shannon said.
That was enough for them. They knew even if the Nest was on to them there was no turning back. They got their guns ready. Casey fixed Sam's vest and gave her a reassuring smile.

Shaun adjusted Jenna's ammo belt. She looked at Matt who nodded to her. Shannon stepped in front of Matt and Tyler with her gun raised as Jenna put the key in the door.

She never got to turn the lock. The door suddenly swung open and they had guns pointed right in their faces.

They wouldn't even live to see the inside of the Nest.
