Matt stood in the dark. He had been in the house for an hour now. Somewhere in the same house was Jenna, her patience wearing thin. Getting in was easy, they just slipped through a door on the side of the garage. Once in there they walked through an open door into the house.

For a house this size and for what she did to get it, it was unbelievable that they didn't arm the security system. All the homes on the block were mansions. Everyone felt safe in their little gated community. The good doctor here must have been Walker's number one, seeing that she had the biggest of them on the block.

The only downside to their easy home invasion was that Matt and Jenna were hoping there was someone home so they could get it done and get the hell out. Unfortunately they were stuck waiting.

Matt felt his phone buzz in his pocket. He took it out and glanced at a text message from Phil: IT'S DONE.
Must be nice, he thought as he felt his knees aching from standing.

It was then that he heard the front door open. Next came the sound of friendly chatter and laughter. They were home. SHE was home. He had gone over the plan with Jenna once they discovered the house was empty. It would be his job to reveal himself first.

An unknowing spouse could cause problems, that's where Jenna would come in. He heard the sound of keys hitting the table and the popping of a wine bottle cork. Apparently the middle aged couple were about to have a night cap. Matt was more than happy to throw a wrench into those plans.

He slowly made his way towards the happy couple in silence. He was dressed in black cargo pants and a black long sleeve tee. His patented black ball cap topped off the incognito outfit.

He moved stealthily and the couple finally came into view, sipping on wine as they leaned on the kitchen island. The woman saw him first and froze. Matt aimed his 9mm at her, equipped with a brand new silencer.

The husband saw her face and followed her gaze. He also froze as Matt entered the kitchen. Then, he took off out an open entrance, and disappeared out of view, leaving his wife all alone.

It was only seconds before he backed up into the kitchen again with Jenna's silencer pressed against his cheek.
"Well, now that the gangs all here we should get down to business." Matt said.

"Please." The woman said, her voice trembling. "I know who you are, both of you. I can give you what you want."
"That's very nice of you, doctor Stevens." Matt said. "I got that right, didn't I?" He asked. "Sarah Stevens."

She was an attractive woman. She had long blonde hair and fair skin. Her body was toned, most likely from any one of her Pilates, Zoomba, or Spin classes she took.

Her husband was a normal run of the mill forty year old man. He was dressed nice, presumably from the outing they just came back from, but his beer gut and double chin gave away that he wasn't in very good shape. Then there was the fact that he tried to run and was willing to leave his wife alone with a gun pointed at her.

"Yes. I'm doctor Stevens. And I know you're Matt Michaels." She looked at Jenna. "I also know your father."
Jenna didn't speak. The mention of her dad still made her skin crawl, even a week later.

"You know, telling us you know us doesn't help your situation." Matt said.
"I figure since you know who I am there's no sense in lying." She replied.
Matt respected her logic.

"Sarah, honey, what's going on?" The husband asked.
"Just stay calm, Bob." She instructed. "And don't move."
"I'm going to assume you know the Nest is no longer standing?" Matt asked.
