The plan wasn't as simple as the ones in the past. Matt knew he would have to rely heavily on Jenna, Casey and Sam for this one. They knew the Nest better than anyone. They knew the entrances and exits, where the guards were positioned, and the Nest's weaknesses.

"Another plan put in place by Matt?" Shaun asked. "What could go wrong?"
"He could blow himself up again." Phil remarked.
"Oh fuck you guys." Matt said, joining in as everyone laughed.
It was nice to be with everyone joking and laughing again. For a brief moment it was like old times.

"Okay, in all seriousness now." Matt said. "We are a hundred percent on this? He has seventy-five guards, all ex-military, at least ten of those monsters, and only God only knows what else...."

Nobody spoke, they knew the stakes. They agreed once and didn't have to do it again. Nothing would change their minds.
"Alright then, I'm gonna turn it over to Jenna." Matt said.

She stepped forward, holding a pencil and a piece of paper, which she put on the table in front of her. She would need to draw some of the things she was going to mention, for reference.

"My father is expecting us back in three days. So we'll leave in two, catch them off guard. Now the Nest is big. There are two entrances and there's always one guard outside each entrance, at complete opposite ends of the building. We'll need to take them out at the EXACT same time." Jenna explained.

"Shouldn't be too hard." Matt said. "Who's our best shots?"
"Phil." Shannon said. "Then you probably."
"Okay. Me and Phil will take the shots. We'll split up and sync our stopwatches on our phones so we know when to shoot." Matt replied.

"That's good." Jenna said. "BUT..... security cameras will be on now since they know we'll be returning, so we have to take that out at the same time we kill the two guards. That can be done by disabling the security box in the front of the facility. So, we'll need another shooter."
"Who's next?" Matt asked.

Shannon raised her hand.
"You can't miss." Matt warned her. She tilted her head at him, silently questioning if he actually said that to her. "Calm down." He said, putting his hands up in defense, smiling.

"Okay, then what?" Shaun asked.
Jenna continued. "Half of us will be with Matt, the other half with Phil. Once we're inside, there will be half the guards on one end of the facility, the other half guarding the other end, so we can't go through those two main entrances, we'll be too outnumbered if they see us coming."

"What do you suggest?" Casey asked.
"There's a door, on the far side, about halfway down. We meet there and go in together." She replied. "It's a boiler room."
She quickly sketched a circle that was supposed to resemble the Nest and drew a door on the side.

Casey knew that room. She had been in there after she escaped the dungeon of horrors.
"We need to level this place." Matt said. "Each group will run wire down the side of the facility. My team will do our side, Phil's team the other. We're gonna connect the wire to C4, which we'll stick to the side of the building."

"Where the fuck you getting C4?" Phil asked.
"Zipper." Matt replied.
"Zipper?" Sam repeated, speaking for the first time.
"A guy we know. It's a nickname." Shannon told her with a smile.
"Let's hope he can get it." Phil said, with a hint of doubt.

"Seems to be going smooth so far." Shaun said.
Jenna continued. "Once we're in the boiler room we split up into teams again. We'll be behind the guards now. They won't see us coming until we fire the first shots. One team clears the guards on the one end, the other team heads down the other end and takes out the others."

"Yeah but then one team will be stuck at the opposite end of the Nest. Won't they have to double back to the entrance where our cars are?" Shannon asked.

"Yes." Jenna said. "That'll be the team I'm with. My dad's office is on that far end. He'll be locked in there when he hears the gunfire. I need to get to him so I can talk to him." She said.

Jenna said that last part quietly. She knew the others were out for blood, but she needed to talk to her father. She needed to understand who the man she thought she knew really was, and she needed to know before Matt or Casey killed him. Truthfully, she didn't even know if she could let them do it, but she wasn't going to tell them that now.

"TALK to him?" Sam said, angrily. "He killed Gavin! He killed hundreds of innocent kids! Why should he get a chance to explain himself?!"
Casey grabbed Sam and held her as the others stood in sympathetic awkward silence.

"Jenna." Matt said. "You'll get your chance to talk to him. We'll give you that. You make the call."
She was so overwhelmed she could have hugged him and cried. How could he be this understanding after what her father had done to him and his friends.

"Thank you." Was all she said at the moment.
Now that Matt had said it, no one would act on Walker until Jenna got to hear what she needed to from him. He looked at Shannon, knowing full well she was not going to be happy with the decision, but surprisingly she gave him an approving nod.

"Sam." Matt said. "You're going to get payback for what happened. I guarantee you that."
That would have to be enough for her. Casey got her to calm down, sitting beside her on the dining room bench.

"After Jenna talks to her father, whatever that outcome is, we double back to the far exit where the Phil's group will be waiting in the vehicles, ready to pull out. We drive a safe distance away, then we blow the place sky high." Matt finished.

"You hear that Shan?" Phil asked. "MY group." He teased.
She rolled her eyes.
"C'mon, man. We all know it's Shannon's group." Shaun said to him.
"Damnit!" Phil stated, pretending to be offended.

"And how exactly do we do blow the place sky high?" Sam asked.
"I'm hoping Zipper gives us a detonator to go with the explosives." Matt replied. "Just press the button."

"So that's it?" Phil asked.
"That's it, brother." Matt replied, smiling. "Let's all stay at my place, it's safer that way. Everybody do what you gotta do and meet there tonight."

"Me and Phil will go see Zipper, get what we need." Shannon said. "Sam, why don't you come with us? We'll show you around Maple Brook a little."

This cheered Sam right up. Hanging out with someone other than Casey made her feel accepted. She told Casey she'd see her later.

Shaun and Jenna drove off to her house to gather what she needed and Matt and Casey headed back to his house with Tyler and Sierra.

The plan of attack was in place. In only two days it would all be over.... One way or another.
