They all gathered back at Matt's house to prepare for their last couple nights together. Shannon had her bedroom, ever since Matt and Amy inherited the house from his parents she had claimed it.

Shaun and Jenna took one of the other spare rooms. Phil took the downstairs room he use to share with Gab when they stayed over. Casey cleared out her things and let Sam take the room she had been staying in. Now, she moved her things to Matt's room. Their room. She liked the sound of that.

They hung around the table in the kitchen to go over some important details. All of their bank accounts had roughly ten million dollars in there, give or take a few tens of thousands they had spent on various things. They feared Walker would freeze their accounts so they decided to empty them tomorrow and lock it away in Matt's secret arsenal in his basement.

If things went south at the Nest, whoever survived might need to run, and if you run you need money.
"If anything happens to me, Matt, I want you to have my money, for Tyler." Shannon said.
"Me too, man." Phil added.

"Appreciate that guys. Thank you." Matt replied.
It was grim thinking about any of them not making it back. But it was a reality they had to face. Bill and Gab were proof of that.

"My money will go to Sam." Casey said.
"I don't want your money." Sam replied, putting her head down.
"Too bad. It's yours. Donate it to charity if you want." Casey joked.
Sam tried to hold back her laugh but couldn't. "Whatever." She said.

"Sam can have mine too." Shaun said, surprising everyone.
"That's sweet of you." Shannon teased. "Aww, look at you, acting like the big brother."
"Alright, calm down." He said, blushing.

"You don't have to do that." Sam told him.
"I want to. I gotta take care of my little sis." Shaun said, putting his arm around her.
"Obviously mine goes to Tyler. Shannon you make sure he gets it when the time comes." Matt said.
"Of course."

Jenna walked into the room. She had been in the living room by herself watching t.v.
"I heard you guys talking. If I die, you can split any money I have equally. Tyler gets an equal share as well. As for my estate, Casey, I made you the beneficiary. I called my lawyer today and had the paperwork drawn up. You'll get a share of my money with the rest of the group, but you'll also get my house, my cars, and my other house in Myrtle Beach......."

"Jenna, I don't know what to say." Casey was shocked that Jenna would think of her this way.
"What? I know I've only known you six months, but you're the closest friend I ever had." She looked at the others, who were quietly watching her. "It's pathetic, I know."

Casey put her arm around her. "It's not. And you have four other friends here."
"Five." Sam corrected.
Jenna didn't like the attention, she felt her cheeks getting flush from embarrassment. She gently pushed Casey away with an uncomfortable laugh.
"Okay, enough of this sappy bullshit."

"There's a lot of love in this room." Shaun joked. "But I gotta steal Sam for a minute." He led her out of the kitchen to the living room.
"Here, I want to show you something." He put the heavy Book of the Damned in her lap.

"You heard about this book when you were at the Nest?" He asked.
"All the time." Sam replied.
"Flip through it. Take your time. There's some crazy stuff in there. You're one of us now. We've all looked over it, it's only right that you do too." He said.
"Why you being so nice to me?" Sam asked him.

He shrugged. "You seem cool. And it seems like you got a shitty deal handed to you, and I never any siblings." He looked for the right words. For some reason he felt connected to this girl from the moment he saw her.
"Thank you." Sam said.
