Quote: "Do whatever makes you sleep at night."
Definition: A plea to find inner peace amidst the chaos of life. In this moment, all that mattered is finding solace in slumber. Do whatever helps you find peace and rest at night. Do whatever brings you a sense of calm to rest peacefully.
Memoir: I used to believe that morality was black and white - do what's right, no matter the cost. But now as I lay in bed, torn between two choices, I wonder what really matters more - doing what's right or finding peace? Is there a middle ground or must one always sacrifice for the other?
Fable: The words echoed in the darkness, a mantra she repeated to herself every night. What was it that let her drift off into slumber with a clear conscience? Some might say it was the weighted blanket that enveloped her body, like a hug from someone who truly understood her. Others might say it was the soft melodies of her favorite lullabies, soothing and familiar. But for her, it was the knowledge that she had done what was right and just, and that allowed her to rest peacefully each night. So she whispered the phrase once more, letting it wash over her like a wave of serenity before drifting off into dreams.
