In this world there also exists beings, who sell their souls away to the shadows...
These beings are vile and sign the shadow contract for the inhumane purpose of helping another being set the world on fire. These beings belong to a cult called the Shadow Clan. Highly - skilled, evil beasts who can blend into the shadows. Their leader, a strong man with only a left eye, Don.
To sign a contract means to bestow a curse upon yourself. This curse takes away the light from your eyes and the humanity from your soul. These beings are easily identifiable. All of them have blood-red eye pupils, which they proudly adorn. This curse is a curse, which can be broken... How? Through love... Any kind of love... It just has to be genuine and pure. However, such a thing is difficult to acquire with lost humanity. This curse can only be broken if the bearer wants to break it.
The chaos these recent years; the burning of villages, the collapses of kingdoms, deaths of innocent people, famine, sickness, and most importantly, the rise of the Northern Kingdom; were all done with the help of the Shadow Clan.
Don was assigned another mission by the mastermind and ultimately decided to send his two most prodigious followers to complete the mission. Contents of this mission I will not say, but rather I shall give four words. Thievery, discovery, destruction, and murder...
"Come," she hissed as she ran through the trees, her long brown braid whipping in the wind. "Come faster."
The boy with the titanium-white hair, blindfold, and hood stealthily ran behind her.
"I hate her so much," he loathsomely thought to himself. "I hate them all... Had things been, had my circumstances been different, I wouldn't be here today."
The two stopped by a mansion, taking cover within the shadow it cast. The girl looked at the boy with white hair with her deadly red eyes.
"Me," she hissed. "I'll go into this filthy little house and fulfil objective A. I have already planned what to do. You need to fulfil objective B... Then we together will fulfil objectives C and D."
"Alright," he said. "I have a plan... First, we gain their trust, so they themselves will help us with objective B. When we execute objectives C and D, the broken trust will hurt them. They'll weep for mercy before..."
"Slow and painful...Good thinking."
The two stepped away from each other. The boy went towards the harbour and the girl climbs up the wall of the mansion like an insect.
"Maia," the boy said as he turned to face the girl again. "Who is it I must look for?"
"The bitch with the tan skin, brown hair and eyes, and pink dress," she loathsomely said. "Always playing around with clay and paint."
"She must really hate her," he thought. "I cannot wait to meet her. I wonder if we'll get along."
