I opened the back door and stepped out. Only to be face with many weapons.

We were surrounded. The cabin I spent my sweet time in to grab files, now looked like my grave.

I let out a small squeak that alarmed the Cybor friend. He suddenly dropped from the roof and landed next to me with his blade up.

"Are you alright??!" He glared at the soldiers and then looked at me with sharp softer eyes.

"Yes, im not hurt." I replied as I pulled out my sword too. This was it we were trapped. We had no choice.

Voices began to shout and speak among them. The man a few rows down pointed at Raiden.

Raiden gritted his teeth.

"Hey look it's him!" A man said.

It's that cyborg, I heard about him before."

I looked at my friend a bit worried. "Stay close to me. Things are about to get bloody."

"Damn careful he's not what you think he is."

"A child soldier...

"A killer."

'Raiden isn't some murderous madman. He is more than that....yes he killed many humans and cyborgs but it was because he was forced as a child and adult.'
My stomach dropped as they pointed fingers at him.

It felt like being bullied at school and outcasted.

"Yes, but so are we." A few cyborgs spoke surrounding us."

"The cyborgs from the enemy side glanced at me and began to point.

"You, you're no cyborg not fit for this. Why is it you're here?"

One of the cyborgs questioned. Raiden's eyes glared at them, that they dared question me. I had my blade drawn. My stomach dropped more, they kept on muttering things about me just holding him back from his full potential.

"Ignore it ___." Raiden tried to tell me. It was hard. The men stepped closer to us. My back was to the wall. We had togeg out of this spot.

" I don't speak to strangers..." I hissed. In reply.

"Ooh sure tiny thing. Yet you are now. Tell you what because you are some tiny person non cyborg we will go easy on you. Step aside and we will let you live."

I couldn't betray Raiden like that. There was no way. They could still be lying. Hearing that they might spare me did sound nice but it felt so wrong.

Raiden looked at me softly. He wouldn't blame me, if I left but he wouldn't let them hide me forever either. He wanted the best for ___. War wasn't a great life her knew that all too well. He would do anything to get ___ back if that was her choice.

I swallowed."No.. I refuse to betray my partner." My life might still be even safer with Raiden. Without him I'd be dead. " Raiden... my life is in your hands. I will do all I can."

A slight smirk plastered onto his face."Has, amaaazing see how good a loyal partner in combat it hehe." His voice was getting very dark. His claw scratched his blade and slide down.

"Anyone else dare to say more?" Raiden asked the enemy.

This was it the final battle. After this we could go home.

"You have caused enough distress here, it's time for you to pay up." Was Raiden's last warning.
