I woke up to a strange sound in the background. Feeling disoriented and very tired. I opened my eyes.
I didn't realize what exactly happened to me first, let alone where I was. My foggy mind went to high alert as if I was on the battlefield. I grabbed a butter knife from the side of my. My mind must have been in shock.
Someone suddenly entered the room. Out of reflex and fear, I threw the butter knife. The knife few at Raiden. With his fast reflex, Raiden stepped aside and grabbed the knife out of mid-air.
He looked at me with sharp eyes, confused, questioning many things. "A butter knife??" He blinked. By my expression, he knew it wasn't because I wanted to hurt him or anyone in particular.
"That's one hell of a way to greet someone." Raiden placed the knife on the counter with a click. "Maybe they gave you the wrong painkillers..?" He walked over to my bedside.
"P-painkillers??" I asked. My head began to hurt. I was about to touch my head when Raiden halted me. "No don't."
"What...?" I hissed in a sleepy sharp tone. "Really, I feel like shit what could I possibly need to worry about?" I asked him.
"Orr...too much painkillers?" Raiden clicked his tongue. "Doc..I said easy on it." Raiden sighed."
Grabbing a chair Raiden took a seat next to me. To check in on me better, before he broke the news.
